What people like
- Very simple interface with no confusing extra features.
- Easy to export logs and share them with doctors.
- Quick to start up and enter your daily readings.
What they complain about
- App only lets you record one reading per day.
- Updates have wiped out all my saved data history.
- Ads interrupt you constantly unless you pay extra.
- Sliders for entering numbers are too sensitive and finicky.
Suggestion
Would love to do a one time payment to remove adds
Doesn’t work
I gave a rating of 1 because there was no ZERO it doesn’t explain how to activate it ! How does it work?
Simple and useful
It does what you need
I’m Puzzled!
Absolutely no instructions/explanation of what to do to get a reading.
Disappointed
As soon as I opened this app I got a warning that my phone was in danger of being disabled by a virus and I shd click on a link that wd help me! I exited and my phone was fine Im sure the Diary is a good one though
awesome
this was awesome!!
Trash
Doesn’t test your blood pressure
It works!
The app is good, simple to quickly input data. Much less fiddly than other blood pressure apps around. A few features I’d suggest: 1- integration with Apple Health and other apps (Apple health is too fiddly for the readings, but is where users centralise their health data) 2- would be great if we could simply use the phone camera to scan the numbers on the machine 3- backup data/ importa data: recently I had to resent my phone and lost years of historical data. I have it exported into excel but can’t import into the app. 3.b- perhaps an even better alternative would be to create a login where the data is stored Thanks!
Notes! Why?
Great app really good. But why on earth am I limited to put just a few words on the notes. When I export this I want to export proper notes as to when I’ve done the test and what meds and how long after. Seems almost a waste of time having notes when it’s limited to just a few words. I’ve no words for this. This and only this drags your score down
Cannot edit
While it is easy to use if you make an incorrect entry there is no way to edit it.
Blessing in an app
This app has been a blessing that I can track and report to my doctor using the Phone I always carry
Dumped all saved data
Worked fine for several months. Latest updates dumped months of saved data. Started again with daily input and dumped again after 3 days.
Great app for tracking blood pressure.
I’ve been using this app for over a year along with Apple Health. I find this app to be much simpler and easier to analyse my data. I really wish their was a paid version without ads. That’s the only drawback for me. I definitely recommend this app to anyone who wishes to track their blood pressure data.
Lost Info
No point in keeping track if it loses your information.
Needs PDF export
Please add this
Blood pressure tracking
Easy to use can record multiple readings per date and note if taken by you or at Dr office.
Was a good app before latest update
This was a great app, but the latest update ruined it. I lost all my data with the update and now the app doesn’t store more than a couple of days data before it’s cleared. No longer helpful to look at trends. I’ll be looking for another app.
Good free Aop
The app is much better now since the update you can record more than one reading in 24 hours as long as you close the app and then reopen it you can add another reading no problem other than that. It would be nice to have more room in the comment section other than the amount that is currently available overall this app is great using the free edition without a subscription
Stopped working
Decent app until it stopped saving my data after an upgrade. Every time I launched the app after that, my data was gone. Months of tracking. Assuming that’s fixed, it works fine. No bells or whistles, but who needs those? The slider for entering your heart rate is too small and finicky, though.
Ok
It’s ok but godly to get the right numbers in cause they wizz round!!
Initial use simple and very effective
Have made 5 entries so far and this is what I was looking for. Quick start up, no 47 factor I’d, one screen entry. The charts seem quite usable and the test run on the data export was also quick, simple and effective. Your are emailing the log. Just what I wanted!! Now let’s see how it hold up to the long term use. I just need to quickly record the readings and send the log where I need to. Do not need it to link to Space X, start the coffee or walk the the dog.
App update
After using app for at least four months and storing data, developers must have updated app. All of my previous data has disappeared and I do not know how to retrieve it. Very disappointed.
Database cleared
They wiped all my data when they added an update
Latest update
...has complicated it unnecessarily - was a great app before - I know it is good to be able to record more than one a day but did the three measures have to be separated? And was it really necessary for all my data to be lost? So annoying - also the graph is not a line graph any more
Nice app but needs improvement
When it updated, lost all my data, which I need to report to my doctor. Only lets you record one test per day. It is okay if your just monitoring for yourself. If your having issues, then I would recommend using a different app. I’m looking for another now.
Easy to use
Love how easy it is to change your blood pressure readings
Data all gone
All my data since Feb 10th disappeared today! I have a doctors appointment next week & was going to export my data on Sunday but when I went to do my reading for today, none was there. Now it’s starting me out like it’s my first day. Upset
Easy BP App
Only downside is takes only one time per day in consideration vs multiple times in a day making it difficult to see impact of BP on time of day. Otherwise it’s very good easy to use and upload information for MD reference.
Limitation
Nice interface design, but why does the app allow only one BP reading a day?
Needs more than one reading a day.
If you are monitoring your pressure multiple times during the day, this won’t work.
I like it
I needed an app that allows for a comment.
App
Doesn’t work
Lcable46
App is very convenient to use, with one exception. I can’t it to share my data to my email. Is there someplace to get the app to recognize my email?
Quite simple But....!
Looking at reviews from 3 years ago, it’s amazing that the developer doesn’t appear to have changed anything. The date is still in American format, even though that would be a world minority. Dragging “handles” around the circle is a bit of a nuisance for two reasons. First, it needs a steady hand to get the right data. Second, if you’re right-handed, your hand gets in the way. Entering the pulse reading is a little easier. But probably not if you’re left-handed. Like the reviewer from 3 years ago, I wonder whether and why a user is restricted to one reading per day. Any records appropriate to a long-term medical condition would require several measurements per day. I don’t see anything that couldn’t be fixed quite easily so it’s fair to assume that it’s someone’s first try at an app.
Disappointing
I Like the clean simplicity of the UI, however there are several issues that make this app disappointing. - When entering readings on the wheel page, it can be confusing if I opt to use the "plus" and "minus" scales below the wheel. Using the scale on the right controls the Systolic which is on the left of the wheel and using the scale on the left controls the Diastolic which is on the right side of the wheel. - The app only records one reading per day. My doctor has asked for readings in the morning, afternoon and evening. - Though it is easy to email the readings, they can only be sent using CSV. No PDF.
Perfect!!
Omg thank you for making a SIMPLE tracking app with the ability to share with doc by email. Thanks!!
Cancel
I did not know cost until I found as in there. I am 76 years old on ss I can’t afford this. STOP
Good & Simple
Easy to use and delivers as advertised. Suggestion: record time of day with date. Thanks for making this useful app.
Only records one reading a day.
Ok for recording a single reading each day but I check mine twice a day.
Easy to use but lacking
It is easy to record even previous days. It says you can export results but they don’t export as they should - instead of 117/63, pulse 67 it shows it as. 63, 117, 67, which does not make sense.
BPDiary
I just needed something simple to keep track of my blood pressure. Some apps that I have tried, try to cram so much stuff in their app, which most of it is not used. So this app is great!
Very limited
Only one entry per day. I take multiple measurements won’t work. Slide is easy to use. Heart rate too sensitive and no manual adjust option
Convenient tracker...
Pretty easy to use although the using the wheel to enter your BP takes getting use to. Otherwise, it meets my needs and helps my provider help me.
doesn’t hold the data
went to retrieve results from last 2 months, only given 2 random readings my doctor not impressed with me... back to pen and paper
Only one BP a day
Not useful to me since my doc wants multiple BP s a day. I found the drag and drop method slower that tapping in a number
Good app
I have beeen using but this app does what it said
Too Basic
Export function doesn’t work and can only create one entry per day.
Simple and straightforward
The app is easy to use and has a pretty clean interface. People with banana fingers may have trouble with the sliders ;-), but they’re OK. Export of data is similarly uncomplicated. Only wish is for the ability to do multiple readings per day.
Did not like the analogue
The analogue dials for data entry are too sensitive. I wasted time moving the dial to the correct place. Deleted this app in preference for something with key-board entry
Serves my purpose
Difficult to register heart rate. Need ability to register more than one reading a day. Overall, convenient and serves my purpose.
