Too many competitions require cash to enter
Sorry guys, I’m enjoying the game BUT it has become common that “Challenges” in particular now require qualification via spending (real) money to buy high level cars, otherwise unobtainable, to enter….[ See “Missing Qualifications” ]. As someone without unlimited “discretionary income “ I am finding far to many events that I cannot enter, or would not have a hope of scoring in, which limits enjoyment. Meanwhile, upgrading my high level, [ S, A, B] cars requires the sacrifice of those of my “garage” that have taken ages to collect in the “Fusing” process ! Why can’t we bypass the Fuse with accumulated resources such as the Gold or Game Cash to build a collection worthy of the games many of the Events/Challenges that are currently being offered? Please note Mr. Hutch, open the door to those “Exotics” to the many among us that have no ability to participate in “buying success “ with real cash , but still play your game and paying by being forced to endure the advertising revenue YOU surely benefit from ! Yours Sincerely “ A frustrated racer”.

Overpriced slots..
Even though this game is very well made, the slots and car packs are way to overpriced. The events that commonly happen also have very weird types of cars that are usually annoying to get. I would like to see drag racing cars added to the game along with some different kinds of rally cars. Overall, needs some small changes.
so downhill
game used to be genuinely fun 2018-2021 when you used to be able to win packs and events regularly without having to purchase their specialized event packs. i understand it adds more dynamic to the multiplayer and makes it a bit more competitive but at the same time if you don’t keep up with the events full time then you can’t win anything. as a casual f2p player it was much better when you could get on once a day, play an event, and get on the next day and know you would at least get one pack.

Packs are way too expensive and you can only buy them with gold and it’s way too much gold to get premium stuff. It’s too paid to win. and your cars get beat even though they out ranked the other car and every stat there’s times where they can’t even tell you how your car lost.

This game is great! I used to play when I was younger and a year ago I started playing again and I like this game a lot mostly everything but I would like the game to add two new things. 1. allow people to trade cars. Add some restrictions so it’s kind of fair. 2. Allow people to play with friends and family and search in their username or something like that so you can play against them with your. Cars.
Disappointing and expensive.
The game is pay to play if you want to actually be competitive or you have to live on the app 24/7 so let’s get that out of the way. More concerning is often you watch commercials for rewards but will not receive said award and have to watch another commercial again. This feels intentionally predatory. Especially since often the ads they show freeze the app forcing you to have to close it and not receive any reward but the option to click the reward is gone. 🤷🏿🤷🏾♀️🤷🏿♂️ WTF What really disappoints me aside from it being pay for play is that I have never played a game where you grind to be number one during pvp. Just for the event to end and be rewarded for second or third place. They have some mumbo jumbo BS as to why you can be in first place and not win first place. It’s a money grab. Is it entertaining? Yes, until you hit the wall early, empty your wallet or make it a 9 to 5. Just to still lose when you have more points than everyone else. My advice and review. Play sparingly knowing you will not ever be competitive. Do not waste your money just buy Crew or Forza, he’ll Asphault 8 is free to play. The amount of money you can spend buying packs to lose just doesn’t make financial or mental sense. This is my experience keep in mind. Others will have different and more positive experiences. That is fine and both experiences are valid. So enjoy at your own discretion. It just starts to feel predatory after a few weeks or months of game play, investment and losses. Just for them to tell you they often will have people win leaderboards but still lose. Sorry but you can spin BS how you want but that will never make any sense. Add more diverse pvp challenges or fix your leader boards to actually reflect where players are. But don’t tell me it makes sense to sit a top a leader board for days just to get third place still having more points than everyone else when you can simply fix leader boards to be accurate. It’s lazy and it’s not clear without having to dig on hutch website faq to find out why you lose having won. Heed the warning.
Pay to play. Still loose.
Played for 81 days now consider my account very good but $500+ no luck. Very dry and repetitive game needs a better campaign and make event newer player friendly poured tons into these events and still can’t get in the top 200 out of 500. Good game though but realistically you will struggle unless you pay. No adds though. Would be 5 stars if it was easier for newer players and less pay to play and easier to progress. Game goes from - short campaign to a very long pain.

Game is fine, winning any events will require spending a ton of money or having played long enough to happen to have the right cars that are also good. Single player was enjoyable. Playing against other players, they will sometimes win when they shouldn’t and the game can’t even provide a reason.
Overall good needs work
Game is super fun it needs a massive rework for some systems. First off slots should not cost gold at least make them a chance in packs or cost money something besides locking building a bigger garage behind a paywall. Needs more maps can be reskinned other maps or fully new maps keeps the game some level of fresh. Another thing with pvp it’s annoying to compete with people who have insane better builds/deck and causes the lower level players to fight impossible battles fighting over scraps. Also I’m excited for the future of the game with maybe adding more companies like (Lexus, Kia, Chinese companies, etc)
Great Game, Terrible Service
it greatly saddens me to have to give this game a two star rating, because I have played it for almost 3 1/2 years and it is my favorite mobile game. Unfortunately, I can no longer ignore the fact that the developers do not have any support whatsoever for this game. I have had technical issues for going on six months. They have known an identified fixes, but I can’t get anyone through their Help menu to contact me back or assist. The game itself is amazing, but the technical problems and absolute inability to get Support result in the two star rating.

I really like the game, but the issue is sometimes for some reason cars that are yours get removed for no reason. And you can’t get them back. If that didn’t happen then this game would probably one of the best race strategy games out there.

(Old) Played this game a while ago and came back for the Rivals event. Was a cool event yet now I can’t even get into the game to claim the rewards I’ve been grinding for. Very disappointed, hope I’ll be able to get into game and claim rewards before event period ends Edit: As of now the hutch support team has helped me recover my account. Their kindness and helpfulness helps make this rating higher.
Poor poor support!! Avoid
This is genuinely a fun car game with great graphics and enjoyable gameplay. However, progression becomes extremely difficult unless you spend real money, which takes away a lot of the enjoyment. It feels heavily pay-to-win at times. Another major issue is the rewards system. On more than one occasion, prizes I earned were never actually given. I contacted support several times about this, but unfortunately received no response at all. Very disappointing customer service and poor communication from the developers. I’m sure if you’re a ‘whale’ supplying constant revenue you may indeed get a response The game itself has a lot of potential, but the lack of support and constant pressure to spend money really lets it down.

Game is pretty fun when I saved all my money on the test tracks. I had like 2000 gold and then I had like 300,000 so then I could buy like the best pack so I got carbon and I got a lotus. It’s a class a and then I got an Aldi’s also Classé they were both all-wheel-drive. It was super great if you guys want to see real cars from all over the world, you should get this game because it is super fun

Love this game but Rivals was super unbalanced
I absolutely love collecting cars and playing this game! It makes me sad not to rate 5 stars but the rivals event rewards feel very unbalanced over something I can’t control. It sucks that I was randomly put into a team that won’t win and that the second place rewards are basically nothing compared to the prize car and 3 ceramics that the other team gets. I had fun playing the event but it just feels so bad knowing that you are missing out on such good rewards that you can’t do anything about. ;(
Game won’t open
Been playing on and off for years. Recently got back into it and been playing for a few days. Now the game won’t open, it just crashes on startup. Restarted my phone and uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Won’t work.
Great Game but Requires Further Attention to Detail
I have been playing this game for a couple of weeks now and I really enjoy the gameplay. My only complaint is that they need to model the cars better when conducting races. There is NO REASON I should be racing an Alfa Romeo and it looks like a damn granny car going across the track or whipping through streets. I want to SEE my car as it whips through turns and battles to win, not just when I am in the menu screen. Now I dont have this issue with all the cars, some are modeled when racing but a lot of them are not. Not even the color matches.
500+ cars
I’ve been playing this game for years and I love it. I have not not spent a penny and have over 500 vehicles. However, for all those vehicles, it still seems like they purposefully build their challenges to try to get players to spend money, which is business but it takes away from the actual grind of the game. That’s my biggest gripe, but still I love playing it on my off time.

I was trying to avoid spending the gold so I could save it for later after fusing my first car… well. I waited, closed out of the game to see if the 5 minutes had gone by and sure enough my game is fully frozen. I can’t even get past the main loading screen… is there a way to post a screen shot with this?
Pay or have no life grinding
I have been playing the game for a couple of years and I enjoy it. But it is a pay to win situation and grinding 24/7 for not even being able to complete challenges and events. They should add more single player grinding options.
Social interactions
I dig this game but I believe there needs to be more of an emphasis on interacting with players in the same veins as Fortnite or call of duty.
Ruined casuals
The updates that change the cares rarity without allowing them to update cars above them is stupid. Why make them a higher rarity if they cannot upgrade the next rarity. Also taking away all the fusions when they change a rarity feels like a scam just trying to get you to spend more money on fusions. They’ve made this game impossible for those who don’t want to spend a ton of money. This started as a fun casual game for anyone but with the locked modes without spending money and the lack of availability to play single player modes in order to progress has drastically taken this game down. Wish they would fix it but like every other app they are just money hungry

After you complete all the campaign races the game gets slow and boring because if you want to play more than 5 games in each playlist you have to pay real money or wait 8 hours I would also like to add that post campaign earning money is really slow which pritty much forces you to watch ads for some cash I also experienced a glitch where I was racing the exact same car as mine but less upgraded than mine and the opponents car still ended up winning, I will keep the screenshot as evidence incase someone decides to contact me and would like me to provide this game breaking glitch, Apart from that I really appreciate the games concept and I wish more was added to the game as years later there is still no major additions to the content

So I’ve been playing this game for years and it’s easily one of my all time favorites across mobile or console if you want a good game that involves strategy effort and seems to never get old this is the game for you especially if you’re a car nerd like me with over 5000 cars to collect and counting you get a lot of variety now i will say it can get to a point and it has before with me that the game seems to get a little dull almost like once you hit close to 500 rq yes you’re still growing in the game but you more than likely have multiple legends and once the single player is completed you don’t have a ton to do besides collect and play clubs and events which is a decent amount of stuff to do but as a player who has burnt out multiple times and is getting back into it again i’d suggest to the team if they see this make more single player options whatever that would be and i think it would prevent a lot more players like myself from burning out

This game’s a marathon at best
Fair progression? Really? I mean, it’s actually fine…until you hit the level cap. Then you’re just thrown in events to the wolves that either spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars a month or have been playing for 8 or 9 years. And don’t get me started on challenges – if you aren’t one of those wolves, you’ll either need to get really lucky or throw away everything else in your life just to maybe win big. I really thought the objectives would’ve thrown a bone, but all they did was let the devs turn the game into engagement bait. A combination of the ensuing overload and a subsequent slot crisis is what finally got me off after three years of decently dedicated playing. I will concede that it’s not completely hopeless, as you might scrape by if you manage your slots (only spend gold on slots and packs with larger amounts of slots) and pick your battles. Also the devs are incompetent – I believe they accidentally gave away a good prize car for what was basically free not too long ago. Going off their last major slip up, it will probably be months before they actually implement a solution, which is more than long enough for people to forget what they’re trying to compensate for in the first place. Despite all of this, it looks like the game has calmed down, and the reviewer summary is more or less correct in its other points, so as someone who quite enjoyed Top Drives when the going was good, I can only rate this game so lowly. Anyway, I’m a hopeless gambler (though thankfully not with real stakes), and the good pulls were always times of celebration. Needless to say, I’ll be giving this game another spin since it does seem to have cooled off. To whoever actually had the gumption to read this far, may your next (or first) legendary not be an RQ 80! Update (5/16/2026): I’ve tried to write this stinking thing twice now, only to either accidentally lose it or have it actually snatched from me, so I’ll – much to my chagrin – be keeping this quick. Many of the issues in my review still stand, though to be honest, if you want to see meaningful change, you’ll need to make a rival to this game yourself, for hell will freeze over before the devs actually address those issues. They’re also still incompetent. Sure, they did actually figure that inadvertent prize car giveaway pretty quickly…I’d tell you the specifics if I remembered them. Just know that nobody talks about it in the Discord server anymore, so the fallout must not’ve been too bad. However, they did accidentally sell a Titanium at a 50% discount a few days ago. I’m not too sure how that’s going to pan out, but I get the feeling that the fallout from whatever solution they figure out will be pretty ugly. I admittedly can only be so mad since I won’t be affected. That, however, is only because I had bought slots a few days prior and stood no chance of affording the Titanium even at the slashed price. Otherwise I would’ve certainly bought it and have likely been eventually screwed. What I cannot deny is that I have actually had a pretty good time in the last few months. I’ve won big time and again (8 legends in two months!), and premium lites they shower the players with these days have been a godsend. It’s now almost trivial for even a F2P-er such as myself to max out Ultra Rares – and those are the bread and butter of any garage that isn’t financed like an AI startup on Wall Street. Still, I’ve been very much reminded of the fact that, unless I get very lucky with the criteria and/or cars they select, I’m likely years out from my first prize legend seriously worth fighting for. …oh yeah, they fixed the summary! That does kinda strip my review of its original purpose, but many of its points remain valid so it’s fine. Much as I’d like to think that my review (if it’s even the same review anymore since I changed the title) was single-handedly responsible for the fixed summary, it’s much more likely that Apple simply regenerates the summaries every once a while and the AI simply didn’t pull from the progression-related sentiments this time around. Either way, I approve of the new summary, for it is more or less accurate now. Ultimately, my 4-star rating still stands, for the big issues remain prevalent and the gambler’s paradise of the premium lite rain simply isn’t enough to make up the difference. Anyway, I’ve finally managed to successfully write this dang thing without losing it. I guess I’ll be back again if something big changes, but for the time being, may your next epic not be a dupe RQ 65! P.S: I’ve had the dubious fortune of being endowed with not one, not two, but FIVE new RQ 80s. … D; I can only hope that means 5 others pulled the cars of their dreams.

However, I feel like it’s a bit pay to win and the Lamborghini Gallardo from the newbie event is basically impossible to obtain as Colombia 10 requires an outrageous 500 points. This is 100% to bait people into paying and to screw all of the genuine players.
