Fills an Apple gap
This app shows you which songs in your library support Dolby Atmos and even creates a playlist of all supported songs. Something Apple should do…
Only indexes favorites
Will not recognize my library
App does in 3 seconds what Apple hasn’t done in 3 years
I’ve been spinning my wheels trying to figure out which songs in my main playlist (around 290 songs) are in Dolby Atmos. Apple’s solution. Open each one and look for an icon that may or may not be there. This guy…give you a list of Atmos songs! I would like to see the ability to add these songs to a specific playlist. That would be 5 out of 5 for me. I need this because I use my playlists on my other devices (Apple TV, SmartTVs, my Car, etc). If you don’t care about that and just want to play the songs directly, you can just click it and it will play on your phone.
More sort options please!
It works well for tracking all Spatial Audio tracks, but the sorting needs to be hierarchical, by artists, then album names, then songs. As it is, it’s one huge list of all tracks with no other possible organization. The filtering by artist name simply lists every track in order, causing massive amounts of scrolling required to browse. So it’s kind of useless, no search function either. I appreciate the notifications of new atmos tracks, but that’s about it.
Pijnlijk voorbeeld: ‘Close to the edge’ van Yes. Dit jaar in nieuwe Steve Wilson remix uitgebracht in Dolby Atmos volgens Google Gemini overal ter wereld. Bij ons 36 uur na de release teruggezet van Dolby in stereo. Bah!
very good and needed
Once you get hooked on Spatial Audio through the Apple TV, this is the best app to keep you updated on changes and the playlist is perfect. If you only wanna listen to Spatial Audio, you just pull up the playlist and you are set.
Didn’t find any Spatial Audio songs out of 4,222
Not sure why, but the app finds zero Spatial Audio songs out of 4,222
Please bring back Apple Watch app!
Such a perfect app but would love a dark mode version of the app icon please
Sort by release date
Why can’t you do that?
Good
This is a good app and better than anything Apple Music has to be able to sort your music by Spatial Audio. But I wish Apple would allow you to search and sort Apple Music by Spatial Audio and Hi Res Audio. All I want is to be able to see all the albums available on Apple Music that are in Dolby Atmos and/or Hi Res lossless audio , it's 2025 and we still can't do it.
Very valuable for huge libraries
I have over 50,000 songs and have experienced plenty of data loss, duplication, and sleepless nights due to iCloud sync glitches over the last decade. This app is such a good idea, and I wish I discovered it sooner.
Erratic since iOS & iPadOS 26.x
My library has 17551 tracks in iTunes and on iPad and iPhone and I have checked every single one. Music Tracker only finds 17550 and recently keeps reporting tracks deleted and added at the same time when they have not been - seems to be unreliable under iOS and iPadOS 26.2.1 (all 26.x versions).
Very useful
A very good app, helps surface tracks that aren’t necessarily on heavy rotation but have been upgraded to SA and are nice to play again for that reason. It’d be great to be able to jump to the tracks in Apple Music straight from the list of tracks it has found in your library rather than just playing them. EDIT: Now realise that this is possible by selecting the track so that it plays, then switching to the Music app. Terrific. Also, if only some of the tracks from an album have been converted to SA, others are listed because they belong to the other, even though they are only lossless. No big deal at all, and I am delighted with this app - very useful. Great job.
Was working fine until….
Today, now the app constantly crashes when attempt to update the search for spatial audio. Need to be looked into.
Link out to Apple Music
This app is almost there and I love they added spatial audio atmos support. One thing I would love to see and feel is missing is the ability to have a button to tap that links out to the album or song on Apple Music Apps like Music harbour can do this and I’d love to see this integrated into this app please🙏🏻
Fantastic
I never write reviews. This might be my second but it’s worth it. Works like a charm. I receive a daily update of new tracks added from my library. I play right from the app(which pulls the Spacial track via Apple Music). Perfect.
Needs to be updated!
Needs work. Good idea though. Needs to put an up to date album library that automatically keeps all of our songs current.
Add playlist support
App is well built and a great idea it would be great if you could select playlists to scan
not worth the money
unfortunately there are too many bugs with notifications, at least for me. Shouldn't happen on an app you pay for without trying before buying .. ios notifications are enabled, as well as in the app — but i don't get any. every time i launch the app, i need to manually refresh the Activity page to see if & what has changed since my last visit a few days earlier. deactivating the summary notifications doesn't work either.. if i turn them off, it'll show that they're off, but as soon as i close and reopen the app, they're enabled again. Im on 16.3.1, used it on 16.3 as well. XS Max and iPhone SE (1) on 15.7.2/.3
Missing a Critical element:
•ALMBUM ART 🙌 •NEEDS ABILITY TO SEARCH AND ABILITY TO ORGANIZE BY ALBUM. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Fantastic
Really well designed and works great. This is exactly what I didn't know I needed for years. The developer is also extremely responsive and cares a lot so huge ups there. Thank you thank you!
Nice idea but doesn’t hit the mark.
Just gives you a list of any track in your library that is spatial. That just means thousands of tracks so not easy to find what you’re looking for: . No way to just list by albums or artists who have spatial. You have to get all the tracks .
Incredible app for those with large libraries
I’m so thankful for an app like this that helps me keep track of when tracks get pulled so I can go and fix the Apple Music corruption issue or delete and add the re-release. However because of Apple Music’s (idiotic) tradition to delete songs from playlists when the song is deleted from the user’s library, I was wondering if there could also be a playlist tracking feature that would keep track of when songs are removed from a user’s playlist? It would help for both the issue I described above, so that a user could restore their playlists to before if they had to delete and re-add a release for whatever reason. And it would also help if a playlist has non-library tracks in it that eventually get removed. Of course, I understand if the current APIs do not allow for this.
Error!
Can't grant access to multimedia library! Help!
Until there is metadata
Until Apple provides a metadata field fo Spatial Audio, this app does identify songs and report changes in your library. It works as advertised.
Misses large number of SA tracks
If this app actually worked correctly, it would be fantastic. Unfortunately; it consistently misses Spatial Audio tracks and fails to add them to the list of available songs. For example, I have Prince’s Purple Rain in my iTunes library. When it was upgraded to Spatial Audio, Music Tracker failed to detect this and add the songs to my SA library. When I discovered that it was available as a Dolby Atmos download, I even tried to delete and add it back into my library, with the atmos versions. Music Tracker still failed to detect and add these tracks to my SA playlist. This has also happened with brand new albums that I have added to my library. Sometimes it detects and adds songs, often it does not. It is frustrating.
Not perfect but a lifesaver for someone who’s precious about their music collection.
As someone who’s music collection is very dear to them, this app is frankly a life saver. Apple/iTunes is horrible with metadata and frequently changes things at random, or worse, loses access completely on Apple Music. While this app can’t stop that, it’s nice to know when an album has been removed from my library, or when an artist or track name has been changed by apple so I can rectify it.
No longer recommended
I've been using this app since it launched. It did a great job keeping track of changes Apple made to my Apple Music library. It ran in the background on its own, and would actively notify me if songs in my library were removed or changed, so I could go fix them. The app no longer does anything automatically. I have to open it and hit 'refresh' if I want to know whether anything has changed. That core function does still work, and I get a list of what's chagned, but scrolling through that list is now incredibly slow. Too bad the developer let this once useful app fall apart. At this point I'd look for an alternative.
Music Library Tracker
Finding Dolby Atmos music and single individual tracks can be very frustrating for Apple Music. This amazing IOS app helps immensely.. it will show you the new weekly Atmos albums, new individual tracks and even older albums and individual tracks that have been upgraded from regular 2 channel stereo to Atmos. A must have app!
BE CAREFUL
I’ve spent nearly 20 years curating my Apple Music library, and this app exploded it in a matter of 2 minutes. Albums that were previously downloaded in full have now been fragmented into single songs. Hundreds of songs have been added as “single” tracks instead of albums. I immediately deleted the app but I’m afraid the damage is done.
MUST HAVE FOR APPLE MUSIC SUBSCRIBERS
This app should be pre-installed on every Apple device, or bought out by Apple. Streaming music is amazing, but because of copy-write changes, artists moving over to different record labels often times songs in your library are gone missing. This app lets you know any change in your music library. It's wonderful. So if someone goes missing you'll know, and in most cases you just search on Apple Music and you're able to find it again. It's a life saver. It's not a perfect app, but it's a must have app. In the future I would love to sort by album, and if possible the ability to "open in" Apple Music to easily find the missing songs in Apple Music. Either way, I love this app.
Does not update
You have to manually check the app, it doesn't update on its own like it used to. App has been broken for months now.
Apple should have done this
Keeps your library up to date with the highest quality version of your albums. Who doesn’t want better quality?
Absolutely does not work
I keep this on my iPhone hoping to see an update that actually allows this app to work, but none have done that so far. I’ve made sure the settings for Music are set they way they need to be for the app to work, but it just won’t. This update at least allowed it to *attempt* to be correct, as it previously updated exactly one time - when it was installed - and then never again read my collection. Unfortunately, it’s so woefully off that it’s kind of hilarious. For example, according to the app, 166,368 tracks were deleted about a week ago - which, if you know Apple Music, is dozens of thousands of tracks above the limit of 100,000 songs. Then it reported that 1,324 songs were added while 273 were deleted… the next update says 82,910 songs were added, followed by another 30,064 added a day later. It just doesn’t work, but I guess at least it’s kind of entertaining seeing the app’s exaggerated idea of what it thinks has been happening in your collection.
If you had it installed already, you might need to remove and reload
This keeps dumping my iDevices to the app's menu in "Settings," but it needs to be listed in Settings, Privacy, Media & Apple Music and go there to enable it. But the app doesn't actually show up in that menu from the update, and therefore nothing to enable. Remove and reload the app, and it prompts for that access first and then the notifications option. Sadly, the prior records get wiped.
Crashes a lot
Not updated for iOS 10. Crashes a lot on startup.
Worked Correctly
This app filters your Apple music library to find spacial audio tracks and then creates a playlist of the tracks the app works wonderfully and quite fast aswell however if it’s possible it would be really cool to sort by audio quality aswell and should be a feature
Just spins and spins
Now when I try to update, the indicator just spins infinitely. When the app did work, it didn't update automatically or keep track of which days songs were actually added to my library. I.e., if I added/modified 1,000 songs on Friday but didn't open the app until Monday, the app would incorrectly say that those 1,000 tracks were added/modified on Monday. The app listing falsely advertised that the app automatically monitors changes to your library, which is why I bought it. It doesn't. You have to manually update daily to get accurate results. But again, the app doesn't even work at all since this new update. I either want the app to function as advertised at the time of purchase or I want my money back. It's only .99 but I feel tricked.
Nearly Perfect
The only thing keeping this app from 5 stars is that it doesn't detect changes in "Year" metadata. With that one change this would be a 5 star app
Eats battery and duplicates reports
This has shown some interesting things, but it's high on my battery usage list... 6 minutes background. Plus lists the same track additions multiple times. Today it's shown 128220 deletions! Hmmm
Automatically increases the value of your music library
This app does exactly what it claims to do. In the first 24 hours, it converted 652 of my 16,545 recordings to Spatial Audio (i.e., Dolby Atmos). It’d be wildly impractical for me to attempt to manually perform that task. The app automatically runs once a day, but you can push a button to run it anytime you desire. Up to five other members of your Apple Family account can download it for free after you buy it. You can also install it in macOS at no additional charge. This is single payment; not a subscription.
Pointless.
I'm really sad that I actually spent a dollar on this. Thought there would be a little more info then what is displayed.
Excellent
Nicely designed, simple and very useful. Does exactly what it's supposed to. I can't stop Apple messing up my music collection but at least now I know when they do.
Doesn't update
Doesn't auto update to provide stats, and often fails to manually update.
