No customer service at all for foreigners
While I understand that McDonalds China’s primary purpose is to service Chinese people of course, I find it outrageous that it is not really possible to reach their customer service from a Us-based phone. They require the download of their Chinese App to do so. OK. And there is an English language choice. Good. But it vanished once one goes to customer service and it’s Chinese only. Furthermore there is no way to actually log in to the app with a US phone number, because, while one can provide that number, one then has a window popping up that says: “Your account is temporarily restricted from obtain verification code due to potential risks”!!! Thanks for absolutely no service at all, I guess. Why do you have your Chinese App available on the US App store then? Just pretending? Hey, while I had it on me, at least I could buy a meal without needing the passport. That’s worth one star.
It is a very convenient app, but it still needs to be improved.
I often use the app to place orders, and the purchase experience is good, and the notification after placing the order is instant, which is very convenient and reassuring. However, advertising and interface dynamic elements often interfere with the operation. I understand the promotion, but it can't destroy the user experience.

I always wanna make an account in this app. However, the app always said that it can’t send me the verification code, once I can but it just teleported me to something like agreement and need me to login again. It was totally not my phone’s problem as when I switched to another phone number, it still didn’t work. I hope the app manager can make it possible for users to have more chance for logging in, it will be better if managers can make the steps more easy and convenient. Tysm.

Works fine, but delivery is awful
Ordering is easy, but there is no guarantee that it will show up. The delivery people are awful. They often deliver to the wrong location. They have thrown our food away and said it was delivered. They do not call or knock on the door, they just leave your food. You cannot rate the delivery or food, so there is no accountability. It is better to order through meituan, as their deliver is more dependable.

I can’t rate my orders anymore
Have to give a one star after using it almost every day for about 5 months now. I used to be able to rate every order. I rate orders often, as the one of the two shifts that work my new neighborhood McDonald’s is really great (the other shift is not). I want to make sure that their supervisors now about my experience. Now, since less than a month ago, the “rate” button stopped showing up. What’s the reasoning behind this change?? Please let me rate my orders again.

拉垮的一匹。晚上赶时间买了一张券，首先麦当劳app在我买完之后默认定位到了我上一次吃过的餐厅（五公里开外），然后甚至在下单前都没有再次确认此餐厅过远就让我下单了。然后我再买了同样一张券，发现身边这个店铺用不了了。合着就是逼客户买券 然后先骗客户用掉是吧？吃相难看

Another below average Chinese app. Too much product pushing and too many glitches. Please don’t suggestive sell to me on an app I’m already using. Bits of English here and there but then nothing. Chinese apps remind me of websites in the 1990s with a lack of good UI/UX
