What people like
- Huge variety of UK radio stations available
- Easy to use and simple to navigate
- Great for expats missing home radio
- Works well when other apps fail abroad
What they complain about
- Ads block the screen and won't close
- You still see ads even after paying
- App crashes shortly after starting on new update
- Fake virus warnings scare you into clicking links
Its good but have less ads
So many ads every secind i play a station like chill out im trying to play music while playing games and all i hear is ads not the ads in the radio stagion but in the full app
Adverts
Too much adds and can’t get rid of them
So far so good
Live overseas and came here after closure of BBC Sounds to people living outside the UK. Easy to navigate but not a lot of personalization offered.
Impossible to open at times because of adverts to download apps
which cannot be bypassed
Adverts ruin it
Once you choose a station the screen displays an advert which you can’t get rid of, so you’re unable to select another station. Only way out that I can find is to close the app (which shuts down the radio station being listened to) and start again! Shame, as otherwise it’s a good app.

Full of scam ads
I’ve been using this a while as it’s so easy to use, however in the last few months I am continually seeing full screen unskippable scam ads, where there is no means of reporting them. I used to work in a cybercrime fighting team and used to regularly see these… Facebook scam sellers, malware etc. Filled in multiple reports separately via google however they continually say the ads don’t go against their policies. What can you do apart from avoid these apps? 🤷🏻 I’m sure a lot of people have been scammed from using the app, which puts the devs at risk of being liable, no matter what they hide in their T&Cs

Our favorite, wish we could get it at home on our Sonos system???
Outrageous adverts
Great range of stations, sadly only some work, however the biggest problem with an otherwise good app are the adverse that you cannot bypass even when they are finished and every time you try to legitimately close them down using the X it falsely takes you to the AppStore, what an absolute hijack tactic🤷♂️
Frustrated
Pop ups blocking screen.🤯
Amazing
Great music
Keeps crashing
Deleted!
Good app.
I like the content and the vast amount of stations. I don’t mind the adds, but the adds that take over the screen with no escape troubles me.
Add
ADD HAS TO BE REMOVED.
Buena con matices
Muy limitada comparada con su versión de android, lo que es una lástima porque esta es excelente
My right arm
This app is like my right a and I can’t do without it. It keeps me going through the day and I switch genres all day long depending on my mood. The ad free version for a very small fee is well worth it. All my friends and family are using it now too. Give it a try. You won’t regret it.
Adverts
Make the free version useless.
Too Many…….
The ads are annoying.
Simply 1 of the best
With unlimited data this app help me listen all my favourite’s stations in the car, on my sound bar as well as my Bluetooth speaker.
Ads
The ads linger too long and this causes the app to be less user friendly.
Ok!
Brilliant,just brilliant
Misleading and false pop-up adverts
After I selected Times Radio today a pop up advertisement appeared stating my phone had 8 viruses and I should download software to remedy this. The ad was incorrect and presumably malware
Amazing variety
I discovered this app a few days ago and have been having a great time listening. It’s got all the BBC radio stations and hundreds more. It’s simple to navigate and you can click the star image next to each station to select your Favourites - I’ve got a great indie music station plus cool funk, house, techno and ska stations. I’ve also selected Talksport and news stations and because I’m thousands of miles from home, I’ve even put Birdsong Radio in my Favourites so I can feel like I’m sitting in my back garden with a cuppa! The only downside is that your Favourites will appear in the order you select them and there doesn’t seem to be a function to rearrange their order, so I’d advise writing down the stations you want in your Favourites first, then star-selecting them in that order.
Pop ups
Too many pop up advertisements
Lots of great stations
The only downside is the ads that won’t X out and play over the music.
Radio stations
Everything you need in one app
SCAMS
I like the radio app, but not the constant Apple Scam messages trying to trick you to immediately tapping onto scammer sites. Needs sorting out.
Good but keeps playing stations at increased speed.
That pretty much covers it! Have deleted and reinstalled and it works for a while then starts again.
Demasiados anuncios
Demasiados anuncios q además impiden cambiar de estación de radio con frecuencia
Default music app
This music disappears and defaults to iTunes when using ear phones and connected to apple play. You have to go back into the app to start playing again as it defaults to iTunes dosent seem to recognise it as a normal music app
Wynne 👏👏👏👏
Funny, caring and great music 🎶💗
Rubbish
Too many adverts won’t even let you change channel
review
I had downloaded other web radios but eventually cannot use them as their initial web page change (example bbc1) then the sites are not updated (app link) so the app is useless, as then it's a dead channel. I hope that this app keeps up (if the links change). Also it has a good variety of stations (80s, pop, jazz, different bbc stations and more).
Most Ads are so invasive you, they’re permanent
Literally, you cannot get rid of them, you have to close the app just to change to another station, and you can’t add favorites with most ads because they lock you out
Sometimes the name of the song doesn’t show!
It’s important for the name of the song to be shown
Easy to use
Easy to use too little app
Music experience
Great music but constant ad pop ups!!
Away from home permanently
Living in Australia but still very much call England home, it is great to be able to stream our favourite radio stations and feel part of our origins.
Woke
You have podcasts that are woke and fake news I used to love this app
BBCが聴けない
便利なので毎日聴いていたのですが、いつからかBBC Radioが選局できなくなってしまいショックです。なんででしょうか。

Adverts adverts adverts!
All I get are adverts! And I’m not talking about the ones on the actual stations but on the app itself; adverts for games, gambling, just about everything you can think of. And there is no way of closing them unless you agree to open the app store in a bid to FORCE you to download another game! I am so bloody sick of these! I paid £9.99 for this app and for what? So you can keep pushing me to buy more stuff? Just checked and you have to pay a further £14.99 to get rid of the adds. Apparently. Of course there is NO notification of further “in-house purchases“ on the app before you install it, so you are further suckered into believing the £9.99 you pay upfront gets you ad-free listening. It doesn’t. Like other users, I am deleting this app. And I’ll be back to check on this review. Because if you change my one star review to a five star like you’ve done with other reviews here, I’ll damn well report you!
Great app
Primary use is Radio Caroline & Caroline Flashback. I like switching between the two. Also Radio Caroline plays new pop & rock. Best of my knowledge U. S. FM won’t play new rock & XM Deep Tracks only occasionally. I only listen regularly to 2 other non UK stations & 1 prog rock app, currently checking out another. Liking Caroline more & more, not just hits, but album tracks too. (Some Jazz podcasts discontinued or non accessible.) Overall a great app. Thanks!!!
A great app but with one issue
App is great - I can listen to stations with ease but when I connect my iPhone to a speaker the pitch goes up. It’s still listenable but it’s annoying and I end up listening through the website. Perhaps this can be looked at in an update.
Ads
This is a great app. However, I paid to get no adds but I am still getting them. Very frustrating!
Prematurely closes on Macs
The App was excellent on all devices until its latest update; it now force-closes after a few minutes.
Adverts
Every time I open the app there’s an advert right across the page stopping me from selecting a station I want to listen to. Appalling app.
Pumps
Great tunes whatever you’re into shaking your thing.
Great app
Tends to cut out...
