Great format
Never works for me
Every time I try and go live it never works for me, it always gives me the “Cant connect to live” even on Wi-Fi it won’t work. Hope it gets fixed
Works well but zoom/wide lens support needs fixing
I've been using this for our Sunday broadcasts at three different buildings for nearly 2 years (9 broadcasts per week). I love everything about it except that optical zoom stopped working sometime within the past year (I'm assuming an API change in iOS 15). Since the change it only uses the phone's main lens, and zooming is low quality. We place the tripod at the back of the chapel and initially with optical zoom we were able to crop up on the speaker. Now we can only crop up to half the rostrum.

Simply useful and great
“Select Channel” Crashing
Uh oh! With this latest 3.3.1 update the app crashes when you try to set up a YouTube broadcast destination on iPadOS and iOS. Please fix!!
App is Pretty Good
I use this app to stream on YouTube and it’s pretty good. My only problem is that sometimes the app will crash and it’ll get annoying.
2 issues
The two issues I had was #1 the stream could drop at any time and you would not realize it unless you happens to see then button to restart. I never failed to broadcast a football or baseball event where that did not happen multiple times. I would say on the average, 5-6 times per event. The second is 3 different times the sound would get ahead of the video by 25-35 seconds which is significant. For instance we were calling a touchdown play while the team was still in the huddle. This is frustrating because we are looking for a way to add a scoreboard overlay using an iPad as a camera and thought this was the answer.

Doesn’t work for livestream to Facebook Live
Every time I try to stream to Facebook Live it fails. No support available to troubleshoot issue.

This is a great app for getting a clean (UI-free) HDMI signal. Two things would make it better - Being able to switch to the ultra wide lens on newer iPhones and being able to control exposure.

Connection drop
I love this app. It works great for what I use it for but there is a big problem. The app crashes and térmites my stream. I don’t know why this happens. My wifi internet speed is good. The other problem is that I get buffering while streaming. I wish they’d fix these two issues and it would be perfect for me. I appreciate the fact that the app is free but these two issues are big and would not mind paying a one time purchase fee for the app if it work flawlessly while streaming.

Needs Tele Lens
I would give this a 5, but it does not use my tele lens. If this used the tele lens it would definitely get a 5 star review.
Record gets lost in space
I keep deleting and downloading the app to refresh settings. When I record sometimes it mysteriously drops the recording. I think it runs out of memory. I also have been removing all notifications and background apps from running while turning cellular, Bluetooth and WiFi off to save memory. Long recordings over 40+ minutes have a hard time. This app worked great on older iPhone and iPads. However something in the new iOS phones is not making this app run very well. Drops mysteriously I think when runs out of memory. Would love a resolution see hockeymap dot com.
Great app but ....
The correct rate would be 5 stars for features and 1 star for reliability so I rated it at 3 stars. This app is packed with tons of great features but it keeps failing to go live on LTE/4G mobile connection, it works fine on wi-fi but after a wile it just crashes. I would love to continue using it but it’s not reliable. (iPhone 11 user)

Still missing baseball scoreboard. I have years using the app this one and the $30 monthly app and still waiting for baseball scoreboard. Thinking in switching to other app that have that option. Sorry

1 star until there is a fix to use the zoom feature zoomed out! No external camera streaming apps allow the use of the 3rd camera on the 11 pro which is the primary camera I use! The 0.5x camera! Until that support is added 1 star!
Good, but the connection drop
I enjoy this app for the fact that you can control your stream all on the screen. I can change scenes, zoom in, color correct, it even has stabilization, which is something an average camera has. The issue here is that sometimes when I stream, my internet can sometimes throttle the speed of the connection which ended up automatically ending the stream from the app and it displays “broadcast completed”. I wish there was a setting where the app lower the resolution automatically when internet connection gets throttled so my stream doesn’t get ended. Most live-streams doesn’t have to be perfect to maintain quality, just as long as if the stream keeps going.

Think twice before mission critical
I love the functionality of these apps in demo mode. I was asked to live stream a funeral on Facebook so I decided to use this app mostly because Facebook only allows you to schedule a stream if you’re using a stream key. this app is very nice and convenient I thought it would be a great way for me to both record and stream so I purchased the $10 record option the day before and tested it out a little bit seemed fine. day of the event not one minute and 30 seconds in the app crashes out if you have recording going what is it with these apps and crashing at set time intervals?I was using another one of their apps on the iPad and it decided it wanted to crash every hour which is great if your streams only an hour long. But I digress between having to worry about the phone overheating I also had to worry about the app crashing but thankfully I could reconnect to the stream with only minor hiccups however it’s supposed to be a professional app and I’m trying to do a professional service with a dedicated iPhone. I was using another one of their apps on the iPad and it decided it wanted to crash every hour which is great if your stream is only an hour long. But I digress between having to worry about the phone overheating I also had to worry about the app crashing but thankfully I could reconnect to the stream with only minor hiccups however it’s supposed to be a professional app and I’m trying to do a professional service with a dedicated camera iPhone. I wish the $10 was transferable because it would be nice to use the same recording function in the other apps but then again I would much rather have an app that actually didn’t crash. for what it’s doing I don’t see why this is so hard. I mean you can do the same thing with the Facebook app of record and stream that’s what I did last year but you have no way of monitoring the audio. It’s not like I was really doing anything intensive I was literally taking the camera and streaming it out Over Wi-Fi at that with the hopes of recording it no overlays or anything else. And please use my Apple ID and actually email me because there is no way for an end-user to receive more than a notice that there was a reply.
Great and almost perfect, just crashes a lot
I love this app for live streaming hockey games, my only complaint is it closes out or stops broadcasting for some reason, it may be the new iOS that it is running under? Any insight to how the settings should be configured best would be greatly appreciated!
What happened?????
Loved using live air solo for live streaming high school games on youtube. Now that app is airmix solo it wont hold a continuous stream for more than 2 min!! What the heck did you do????!?!?!? Please put it back like it was so I dont lose my mind trying to keep the live feed up and miss watching the games. I will give this one more try but if it doesnt work, I’m done with airmix solo.

It’s ok for an hour
This App has been great, I use it for DJ’ing live, unfortunately it keeps cutting off an hour into a show.. I’ve set it to continuously stream but still a problem. The sound quality is a bit tinny as well although I can tweak that through monitors
Unstable
It’s a real good tool just stop without trying to reconnect and also closes itself idk why around 15 to 20 mins of live transmission on fb. That happen to me in two live events and some else with another phone.
Impressive!
We wanted to broadcast a ceremony on Facebook using more that a single still shot and this app knocked it out of the park. It was simple to use, could use lower name, full image, multiple video inputs, several transitions available, zooming plus audio level options. We were very impressed and highly recommend it.

Has been a great app BUT...
I’ve used this app for a while now and it’s been great until that last update. Now the mic from the camera doesn’t stay on when you switch to a video file so you can talk over the video then switch back to you on camera. I’m not going to knock down my rating of the app because I’m hoping Teradek will fix this problem. Until then, the app is useless to me.

Like it’s big brother AirMix, this app is a great way to get professional quality with actual professional features with iPhones and iPads. Teradek is years ahead of other iOS based solutions. Bravo Teradek! If I could request anything for future updates: -Osmo Mobile Remote Control of Pan/Tilt (DJI SDK Enables it) -AirPods support for audio monitoring -Remote recording trigger. Enable local recording start/stop for remote cameras -Better audio FX for compression, noise gate and eq -Microphone / Audio source selection. Exactly how Filmic Pro enables audio input routing. -Remote guests capture. Think Switcher Studio Video Chat, Ecamm Interview Mode, etc. Some kind of WebRTC client that a video+audio feed can be accessed remotely via a web browser. Multiple guests would be game changing. -4K Recording on remote cameras.

I like the features but it constantly crashes, I'm afraid to use this during production... Very unreliable
best RTMP app but cannot automatically restart
It is a very nice app. I like to see the levels because I stream in Stereo. However sometimes the stream stops on its own and I have to press the golive again. If I’m fast the stream is not cut in two on YouTube, therefore I would like an option to restart immediately until I stop it.

Good app but with problems
This is a great app indeed. Misses a few features like adding more videos in the playlist and streaming them one by one, automatically. Also, another major problem is that the 3 slots to place video files on the left side... I am unable to clear files from there unless i delete the app and install again. Which is kind of awkward. Even if i delete the file from there in the app it shows up again and hence unable to use it. This needs to be fixed for smooth functionality of the app. Another thing, iOS camera can’t be added as it says violates Facebook terms! I think this app needs a major update.
Great app....But...
I love this application and it’s abilities. REALLY want to just be able to pick a local network streaming capabilities... I Have a video Wall Processor that takes in RTSP feeds and this app would be perfect IF it had that option.

This is a great app that could use a little UI clean up for the more casual user out there. A trap to focus and pinch zoom would make life a lot easier. I find even selecting an area to focus on still dose not mean that it will lock on. Just issues in my experience broadcasting on this app. Other than that I love it and it's customisation.

Although I think I’ve set it for broadcasting into a private group, the feed always shows on my own Facebook page. Quite annoying. What might I be doing wrong.
Doesn’t Deliver
I’ve been attempting to use this app for our weekly programs to live stream to our Facebook page. The app constantly crashes. I have followed the recommended stream/encoder settings on facebook’s website and Teradek’s support page and used various different settings to try and make it work. I’m using this app on a 2020 iPad Pro 11 and I’m using the Live:Air Remote app on my iPhone XS Max, and I’m matching the encoder settings on both devices. Teradek’s customer support page is not exactly helpful, but support has been trying to work with me to solve the issue. There have been noted inconsistencies with what the website says the app can do versus what is being demonstrated. The website claims the free SOLO app can stream on facebook without limit, but if my stream makes it to 5 minutes before crashing, the stream automatically ends at 5 minutes. I definitely recommend waiting for a new update on both this and the Live:Air Action app, on which I’m having the same problem.

Why does image stabilization turn off when using the zoom feature
This is a decent app when a person wants to broadcast higher quality video via rtmp. However, I use this on an iPhone X and whenever I zoom in on something, the app turns off the image stabilization and it has to be manually turned back on every time. Why? Also, it used to allow pinch zoom but the latest version doesn’t appear to let that happen anymore. Unless I’m missing out on how to do that.
