Crashes after long blank load time
Loved this app for saving all my wishlist items! But it’s been getting harder to get it to work. Might want to skip this app for now. Will update review, if app improves for me.

Love it
I love Wishupon so much. My friend introduced it to me and it is so easy to add an item I want. It’s also easy because I can send my wishlists and collections to my friends and family. I recommend this app for sure.
Unable to Add
I went to a page on Safari and chose the app. The screen dims and zooms out but then goes back to normal. There is no pop up or anything. Without being able to save from Safari, this is a useless app for me and I will keep looking for one.
Really great app
I’ve been using this app for a while, and it’s super useful, especially considering how easy it is to access even within safari, and how it auto-enters price, title and pictures. Some things which would definitely bring this up to five stars, would be if a “total price” section for a collection, (so you’d know how much it costs without having to add it yourself manually) and if it stored the link so you could find the item again later without having to search it up. Other than that, great app :-)
Spam notifications can’t be switched off
I like this app, it helps me keep track of items I want to buy that I wouldn’t purchase at the rrp. There are two issues however. Firstly- you often get informed of price drops too late and items have sold out or returned to the original price. Sometimes, even checking instantly, the price is incorrect. The second, and for me the worst, is that you don’t get to select which types of notifications to receive and these have gotten increasingly more “spammy”. I appreciate that using a free app means seeing advertising, but to be so frequently contacted by useless and irrelevant push notifications is quite frustrating. Ultimately, in its current state, the app doesn’t work reliably enough for the spam notifications to be tolerable. Hopefully this will be remedied soon otherwise I will have to delete at the next update
Confused
I just want an app like the Amazon wishlist so I can put on my Christmas likes, share with family and friends and then when they buy a gift they can tick it off so the others know it has been purchased. That’s it. This seems over complicated. I can’t seem to make a wishlist, only a collection. I can’t see where this ‘reserve’ function is. My family have now had to set up a WhatsApp group to discuss who has bought what. Not ideal, will have to try an alternative for next year

This app is purely rubbish. It didn’t even work in the 5 minutes I tried to use it. It wouldn’t load when I tried to use it on Safari even though it said it would. Whenever I clicked “Wishupon” or whatever this app name is, it refused to save my wish. Don’t waste your time on this stupid app

Bad desktop version
So sad to see that an app with great potential put zero effort into their desktop version… especially when it comes to shopping/wishing list, being able to comfortably shop from your big screen / computer is a must ! And have it with you at all times on your app…
Awesome app but one major flaw
I love this app, but I’d love it even more if people I share lists with can see whether and item has been purchased. So far this holiday it’s been a pain having to deconflict to prevent duplicates.

This app is AMAZING 🤩!! I love how I can make lists of things I want or want to get other people. It’s very simple too! You just search up a store/brand or the item you want and add it to your list.Also if you can’t find the item your looking for you can just use safari! This app is overall an amazing app ❤️!! this app is great and really helpful for me as someone who online shops too much! some suggestions i have: 1) giving the option to sort by rating/date within each category, not just the entire wishlist 2) option to sort alphabetically or by price (low to high) 3) having it so the last category you saved to moves to the top of the categories list, if that makes sense 4) unsure if this was changed at all in the recent update, but a way to let others buy gifts from your wishlist without having to share your address? like amazon where someone can automatically order & ship you something from your wishlist without them needing your address 5) making the web browser experience similar to the mobile version - on browser i hate that you can only see the overall wishlist & can’t save to or view categories or favorite stores
WishUpon App Review: A Disappointing Experience with Excessive Notifications
TL:DR: Get “Karma” App instead. It’s free and does everything this app does but better. WishUpon, a wishlist app that promises to simplify your online shopping experience, unfortunately falls short of its potential. While it does offer a few convenient features, its overall performance and EXCESSIVE notifications hinder its usability. One of the most frustrating aspects of WishUpon is the barrage of notifications it bombards users with throughout the day. These notifications often serve as mere promotional messages, lacking any customisation options to remove them to individual preferences. ITS SO ANNOYING HAVING THESE CONSTANT NOTIFICATIONS. And you cannot turn them off. Inaccuracy regarding price drops is another significant drawback of WishUpon. Users may find themselves excitedly clicking on an alert only to discover that the price drop information is completely incorrect. Such inaccuracies undermine the app's primary purpose, causing users to question its reliability. To exacerbate matters, WishUpon bombards users not only with push notifications but also with email notifications, creating an overwhelming influx of unwanted messages. This excessive approach to notifications feels intrusive and diminishes the overall user experience. One of the few redeeming qualities of WishUpon is its ability to organize items into folders. This feature allows users to categorize their wishlists, making it easier to manage and find specific items. Additionally, the app's automatic linking feature, which seamlessly connects items to the app, simplifies the process of adding products to your wishlist. Regrettably, these positives are overshadowed by the app's insistence on pushing users to download the "plus" version. This persistent promotion becomes extremely annoying and detracts from the overall enjoyment of using the app. In conclusion, WishUpon fails to deliver on its promise of being an efficient wishlist app. Excessive and intrusive notifications, inaccurate price drop alerts, and pushy promotions for the "plus" version detract from what could have been a useful tool for organizing and tracking desired items. Until these issues are addressed, it's difficult to recommend WishUpon as a reliable and enjoyable wishlist app. I strongly recommend to all to get the alternative app called “Karma”. It offers the same features to WishUpon but with vastly superior execution and no need to pay. Karma offers customisable notifications, accurate price drop alerts, and an intuitive user interface that allows you to quickly and easily organize your wishlist. With Karma, you won't have to deal with the same frustrations as you would with WishUpon.

Where’s a note section for items?
I love this, but I still find myself having to create a Google doc with links and descriptions instead to send to friends/family for say bday or xmas because the app doesn’t allow you to select your exact preferences on an item and save it - size, color, etc. Having the option to add Notes on each saved item that can be shared with the list would be more ideal so we could add our item preferences in case someone else wants to purchase it for us.
Very Buggy
Sometimes when I click to put the price in it closes everything. And when I choose a photo it doesn’t work, only uses the first one. Also you should be able to edit the item??? Like you can’t even change the name or anything. This app could be awesome if the developers actually updated it and fixed bugs.
Missing Edit & Sort
I’ve been looking for an easy way to save wanted items from multiple web locations since a certain bookmarklet stopped working. Other options I’ve tried have failed for this use in one way or another—they require viewers to create an account or display poorly in mobile browsers. WISHUPON allows me to add items directly from the share sheet (via icon or text menu) and is pleasant for friends and family who don’t use the app to view in-browser, sans account. Many stores can be accessed via link within the app and then load in an in-app browser window, which is convenient if you hate switching back and forth between apps. I prefer to shop at fifty places simultaneously through tabs, which is why the share sheet option is critical. The app easily retrieves the relevant information from the page when adding an item, but I can also edit/customize and assign a rating for simpler sorting. Ratings can also be added or edited after creation. It’s simple to create folders and assign items so my list doesn’t feel overwhelming. Price notifications are an added bonus. I do wish the “edit” item option allowed for manual changes to either title or price, in case I save an item quickly or enter data incorrectly. The easiest workaround I’ve found is re-adding the item to the app from the listing/within the app itself, as individual items’ shared links do not attempt to direct through the WISHUPON site itself. Not difficult, but still one step longer than it could and should be. The absence of either a field for notes or dedicated quantity entry ability (or both) seems like an oversight with respect to intended functionality. And while they may not be everyone’s cup of tea, nested folders would be a nice addition for the hyper-organized among me. I mean, us.
Love this app but..
This is a great place to keep all those things you wish you had, and share for Xmas ideas or birthdays.. except my daughter shares her list and with 49 things on it 8 load and it gets stuck… so I can not see the entire list. Ugh UPDATE: I contacted customer support and they quickly responded to my concerns and corrected the issue on their end within a few minutes.

Bien pour organiser des listes de cadeaux etc mais pas top pour les personnes qui offrent les cadeaux. Je m’explique : c’est embêtant de devoir cliquer sur chaque cadeau, aller sur le site de l’article, pour pouvoir voir le prix. Le mieux est de mettre directement le prix de chaque articles sur la liste car chacun n’a pas le même budget et ça devient plutôt chiant de devoir voir chaque articles… malheureusement je ne pense pas faire ma prochaine liste dessus pour ce soucis là. Dommage car le reste de l’appli est top mais si ce n’est pas évident pour les personnes qui offrent ça ne sert strictement à rien.
Can’t save someone else’s list
This is a good shopping app but as far as a wishlist organizing app goes, I had hoped for more. While I do maintain my own wishlist, it’s just as important for me save my wife’s wishlist as well rather than requesting she send it to me every time a gift giving event occurs. Also important is the ability to have a collaborative list since our kids are little and we both help put together idea lists for other family members come birthday time and whatnot. The inclusion of these two features would make this a home run.

There is not a way to mark and item as bought nor does it come off like a real registry. This is pointless and will cause many duplicates.

Promising start
Needs to Import multiple pictures. Also transfer in product description/details too so can view/compare in app without opening original web page. So important data is there even if original listing deleted.
Fills a huge need
I love this app. It’s perfect to curate things from anywhere, and I had a hard time before using it trying to find anything with similar features. A few requests for the devs- I’d really like to be able to sum categories, and I’d like for the collections view to also have the cost. I’d like to be able to drag drop to sort, and I’d love integrations with notion or if this then that. Also, I’d like to be able to enter my credentials for Facebook directly into the WISHUPON signin fields and for the sign in to authenticate me without hitting the Facebook button. It’d would be nice to get notifications when something is taken down- a flag, and a personalize setting option to migrate things that are out of stock into a bin. Would also be nice to somehow enter the quantity of a thing that you want so you can see the total price if you were to purchase that quantity. Also it still has some trouble recognizing Pinterest content images from a certain view in Pinterest. Excited to become a paid user, this app is a godsend and can’t wait to see where you take it.

I really loved this app, for the first ten or fifteen minutes. I was using a pretty well known online store, but as after a few times of hitting share on each individual item, I was asked to do the "make sure you're not a robot" thing. Didn't seem like too big of a deal until the site literally blocked me. I am super bummed. I was just making a day dream wish list of really cute plushies. The app really seemed to be working well, but I guess it works too well? Enough to ban me from shopping plushies online.
Not What I Need
This app has some good basic functions, but everything that is already available on Amazon. I really wish you could link back to multiple websites for the same item so I can get the best price for it once I’m ready to buy it, even if I had to input it manually. Otherwise I might as well just use the main sites themselves which all have wish list functions which work pretty much the same as this, especially Amazon where you can add items from other sites already. Also - I see the star rating functions as a priority sorting function, but this doesn’t make sense to me when you could just list it as it’s priority instead. It’s a bit too basic for my liking, I’d want more control over how I use this.
ALMOST EXCELLENT
WishUpon This is a potentially ALMOST EXCELLENT app. It NEEDS changes made to it to make it more user friendly. If this was updated I would happily even pay for it. There are many cool features and I quite like the look and feel. Needs more settings and a few changes. I’m a shopper, I like to buy things and this app helps me manage my Wishlist items (future purchases). My favourite thing is the share button, this means when viewing a product on another app or on a website, you can add it to WishUpon. This keeps all my Wishlist items in one app!! I also love the price drop feature, nice work!! Please update the app with the following changes: Tabs: It would be useful to see the following tabs on the app: Wishlist Basket Orders Stats Wishlist: This should show all gifts which have not been added to the basket or ordered. The idea is the user will keep building up the list as required. Wishlist: Ability to create more than one wish list. This allows the user to create a Wishlist for various purposes. For example; a Wishlist for Christmas presents, or birthday presents, or the users own Wishlist named ‘My Wishlist’. Basket: Ability to move items from the Wishlist to the basket. This allows the user to manage their list. It means the user can pick which items to buy. Basket: Ability to show a total. This is important as it allows the user to budget the items they wish to buy. Basket: Provide the ability to move items to the basket from the Wishlist and from the basket back to the Wishlist. Orders: Ability to set items as bought. It means the user can manage their list and mark items as purchased. Orders: Ability to set all items in basket to purchased. It means the user can manage their list and easily set multiple items to the purchased status. Orders: Ability to show a total. This is important as it allows the user to review the amount spent on items. Orders: Ability to show a purchased date. This helps the user manage their orders by date. Stats: Ability to report on orders by month, date range or year. This allows the user to review spending habits and trends. The user should be able to run report that have been predefined. This is my 2nd year using this app for my kids Christmas list. It’s easy to use and I can add items from different stores. My favorite feature is the price drop alert. It makes it so easy to get all my gifts at a discounted price.

I’ve been saving items to a collection in the app for almost a year. I went into the app today, realized I had saved a duplicate item and attempted to remove it. The app deleted all 163 items in my list.

Great app but...
This app is great but there definitely should be a way to categorize the items and more ways to sort the lists and view the list. Also, it’d be nice to have a private list or public list and you can choose who can see which list. Also would be great to be able to have a shared list that someone else could see and make additions themselves. Other than that, the app is great.
