Don’t buy items in store
Good game, but many free to play versions of this type of game are available. Most importantly, any purchases you make to help progress disappear as soon as you start a new game! I love supporting developers by buying a few things, but these guys are just greedy. This is the original version not pirated or copied Russian tech support had no interest in me losing all my purchases that were made through The Apple shop.

Very disappointing changes
Played a few years ago when it was a more straightforward survival game and there weren’t microtransactions just to loot specific areas, and base camps were actual locations in world. Incredibly sad to see such a good survival game be ruined by its team. Art is still nice

This game is a lot of fun! It has a lot of fun aspects to it and it doesn’t get boring.
This game used to easily be 5 stars
I don’t think everything they’ve been doing is bad, I like the combat system for 1, it’s not the biggest deal that loot finding is random, and while very annoying I can live with the new camping system where you have to upgrade everything and it takes irl time. The part that kills this game is how difficult they have made the new combat and not in a fun way. Enemies get stronger as my character levels up but it always seems when I’m just finally getting strong enough to scrape by in a fight the enemies scale up to be twice as strong again. I got stuck on the first fight of the recent event because even with as many buffs as I could find, best weapons equipped that the enemy was even weak to and summoned plenty of allies to try and help me, I still lost the fight over 30 times before concluding it’s just not possible. It just makes me feel like they’re making it harder so that I have to pay to buy whatever new crazy weapons they’re trying to sell you for an event.
Hmm No Fun
Can't use my bandages anymore and the attacks are ridiculous they skip pass traps and attack you no matter where you move to on the map. I have lost my level after days of getting to there to learn I cannot use certain items and make certain things because of this. Not sure the reason to do this and no longer get caps when drinking soda also. Keep being sent back to middle of nowhere and keep dying to the point of level dropping from 18 to 12. This is no longer fun. I won't be wasting money on this game if thats what they want. Caps cost too much. This is virtual currency noway any online objects cost no more than $5 thats for any game. Everything I unlocked is locked now because of camp update.

Amazing game if you love survival and post apocalyptic
Awesome game iv played this for years on multiple devices. One thing is iv seen this game from its first opening to now, one complaint and only complaint iv ever had and iv spends 100s$ on this game. The new wait time in real life for reading magazines is a little much I love that the game went above and beyond with this update but… to have in game wait time and real life wait time only pulls the player for accessing to play as much. Example- workbench, you can make a homemade pistol. And its 3 hours in game time to make it instantly. But to make some coal, or read a magazine or open a simple pistol case almost 2 hours for everything is a little much. 15 fat? 1hour… Maybe don’t remove this new feature you added but cut down all real life wait times by 50% to keep players stuck playing more. And “Hint” want to spend more money on the game for future updates and game creations for other further games this game company has. Game rating 9-10 Issue- wait time is a little over thought when making this change and a little much. I don’t wana play 15 mins at a time 5 times a day. I’d love to play 30 mins and have anything I’m creating or waiting for to be done while still playing. Not wait 2-5 hours (Upgrading camp wait time) I agree should stay as is. For the realistic building a better camp does take time in real life as a survival aspect. LOVE THE GAME GUYS! I recommend to all my post apocalyptic players and lovers!!!
What it used to be
I used to love this game, I still log in every other month to see if they rolled it back. The camp system that magically follows you everywhere with silly timers completely ruins the immersion. Please make a version where we are able to enjoy the game we originally bought…
Hardcore survival
I have to admit that I am not probably hard-core enough for this game. The entire game is a series of micromanagement events. Get food, get water, fix this, build that, survive battles. The last straw for me was when I made a mental mistake and passed out. I regain consciousness in a radioactive zone… Overloaded and my bike and cart are gone. I have to give credit to the players out there who can play this game in the hard levels and survive. It was fun while it lasted but time to move on to another game.

I can’t in good faith rate this any hire, I love this game have since I was 13 but I logged in today for the event and all my progress not just the event but everything including my character was gone if yall can restore by character I had I would love that but I went form I think lv 50 to lv 1 and the whole story restarted my equipment gone my base gone all upgrades gone I have nothing now and for that while I live this game and it earns 5 stars a whole reset has brought down
Great game but…
I’ve owned this game for years, it is a great game, and every so often the developers change the game, altering aspects of it that can significantly change game play. The latest has you build a camp, and when you are building or upgrading, you have to wait in REAL time for tasks to be completed. So annoying to wait. Wasn’t this game mechanic outdated years ago? I vote that this should be removed. I’d rather just pay a bit extra for the newest version. Have a subscription based game. Something like $10 to buy it, and then $1.99 every time a new version is put out to play the new updated version.

Amazing game with much potential
-The game is amazing, worth the premium cost and you can try out the free version to demo the game and see if it’s worth the cost to upgrade to premium. I’ve been playing this game for years and I’ve seen it grow into an amazing game, this game is well polished even on an iPhone 4-which I played this game on for over a year. This game has great graphics and detailed game mechanics, the in game purchasable content can all be achieved through in game progress and is completely optional. Even IF you want to “pay to win” you can’t 100% do it. The END GAME loot-the electric car and electric dump truck which is a moving behemoth, can only be earned through in game progression. All optional in game purchasable content is also priced reasonably and can be obtained through gameplay. (daily gifts and optional advertisements) -If I was to give this game something to improve on, it’s the ability to create fuel, as there is no means to do so currently as of writing this review. Like being able to create ethanol, by harvesting corn and processing it into ethanol. It could come at a disadvantage by degrading the condition of vehicles faster and or causing the vehicle to consume more fuel per 100 kilometres. (62-63 miles) -To conclude, this is an amazing game I would highly consider purchasing the game or at least giving it a try. Thanks.
Love the game but player camps in wrong direction
I love the survival role play but the recent updates are in the wrong direction unfortunately… took some of the realist aspect of the game. Are you supposed to carry the fire with you??? It is so much less realistic role playing :(

I started to play DayR 1 year ago and back after a while with the premium version. Felt satisfied with gameplay updates which has brought to more real life survival. Some improvements would be great in order of more joyful self relief: - More events - Mining e.g. steel / salt - Salt can be distillated some sea water or mining - More players in each server for more community activities - Clan and clan fort, war...

Incredible but there as some very large issues
Diesel being impossible to find ruins the moving town quest, I’ve spent 1000s of diesel and have only moved 1 of 3 reactor parts. The main reason I bought premium was for the save button, however that has recently been removed and it seems nobody is happy with the decision. Losing items when you die and having it being very difficult to get them back is very annoying, I didn’t spend forever making a house and structures just to randomly lose a large selection of my loot because the game said so. Fights are no longer fun, premium is no longer worth it and the last quest is close to being impossible. How to fix - change 3 reactor parts to 1 for the last quest - bring back save button - make fights easier

Best game I won’t uninstall.
I have played Day R Survival for many years and it continues to pull me back in every time. I originally played on an Android phone and over the years I spent a few hundred dollars because I enjoyed the game so much. When I upgraded to an iPhone my progress did not transfer which meant I had to start over completely. I have restarted three or four times and even now I keep coming back because the experience is that good. I currently have the game on my new phone and it has stayed installed for well over a year. I often delete other apps to make space but I will not delete this one. I like knowing that whenever I have the time and the mental space to truly dive in the world is waiting for me. This game requires attention and focus. It is a true real time survival experience where there are no old saves to return to and every choice matters. That makes each session feel rewarding and meaningful. When I spend an evening playing I feel like my time has been used in the best way because I am fully engaged. The atmosphere is intense and the sense of danger is constant. You have to plan every step, manage resources, and think carefully before moving forward. The challenge makes each success feel earned. Even after all the restarts I still find new paths, new strategies, and new stories within the game world. I once purchased about one thousand caps when I could afford them so that I would have them for future use. Even without spending more money now I am still deeply satisfied because the core gameplay stands on its own. My only wish is that there was a way to link progress across platforms so that players like me who switch from Android to iPhone can keep everything they worked for. Day R Survival is a game that rewards dedication and thoughtful play. It is more than a way to pass time. It feels like an adventure that respects the effort you put in and gives you something back every time you log in. I recommend it to anyone who wants a survival game that is challenging, immersive, and endlessly replayable.
Bugs resets progress and Objects you buy
I been playing this game for a really long time, but I have face multiple bugs that always reset all my progress and I just recently spend some money on the new Christmas event but my progress was reset again and the money I spent is gone 👎🏻
Too easy to destroy good gear
It’s kinda easy to get confused between stuff in your inventory, and stuff in the immediate environment. And I just managed to screw my game, as follows: 1. So I’d found (and been using) a cart for a while, which was great for carrying extra supplies. I would just drag it with me, and at level 10, I knew I could craft a bicycle, and attach the cart to the bicycle. 2.I finally reached level 10 after looting 95% of the towns in the beginner area. By coincidence, it was end-of-day, and I setup camp in a building that had a broken bicycle. 3. I setup my campfire, and set about crafting before sleep. I’m pretty sure dissassembled the broken bicycle, though I’m also uncertain. What I do know is that I crafted my bicycle, then combined it with the cart. 4. It was now getting late, and I wanted to quickly sort all the supplies that I’d found earlier in the evening, and then sleep. I’d spent a lot of time with the bicycle and cart crafting, and I didn’t want to lose daylight, come morning. 5. Looking at all the supplies in the immediate vicinity. I noted the bicycle, mistaking it for the broken bicycle that I’d seen earlier. I disassembled it, expecting to have extra bicycle parts for repairs. To my display, my weight carried was now150% of capacity, and I realized that I’d destroyed my bicycle and cart. In other words, though I’d my cart equipped, the action of crafting a bicycle with cart had unequipped the cart, and in a moment’s distraction, I destroyed the cart, crippling my game. I dunno. It’s an interesting game, but if it were a physical object, then I would hurl it against the wall. That was the experience I felt. And now, after having done some chores for a bit, I sit back down, look through my inventory to find a bicycle and cart. I equipped it, and now my game is back to normal. Well, I guess that I’ll return to playing, but that’s the experience you’re going to have.
Stupid unless you play 24 hours a day
Really regret spending money to buy this. It’s a fun game but the last two easy saves I’ve had, I’ve left my character in a safe location (safe house), gone to bed and when I’ve reopened the app, I’m dead. No explanation. So unless you don’t sleep in real life, it’s utterly pointless to play. Deleting it unless the developers change it.

I like the new loot system and combat system but not a big fan of not being able to save when I want you should put it back in the game but overall one of the better game for playing on phone
I liked it better before
I loved it before. Like loved it loved it. And I understand that some people will like it know but to me it just changed some of the simpler things that made me love it so much. And know I just keep dying and losing all my stuff because of it. And I wouldn’t have bought it if it would have been like this new version and I would really like to have access to the old version.
New update has ruined it
Had this since it was released and loved it all this time. Previous update of new interface wasn’t my favourite but got used to it. (Original was better) now this latest update seems to have removed small towns and also made encounters extremely hard to win and now if you die you lose loads of your inventory and also downgrades your character and level! What is that about. I had a diesel truck that i have now lost and also seems a mission to even unlock it now having to get to a certain level unlike before where it was find the parts and you can make it. Big let down and probably will not continue to play this anymore after this update. Big shame game makers

I’ve been playing this game for a long time. Have tried other survival games that i see ads on instagram but none of them have amounted to how Day R is. Its very challenging and has great ambience

Update issues
Since the game has been updated I can no longer save my game or access the game store to spent coins. Loved this game and like the new changes but paid for premium so I can save at any point. How do I get this resolved?

С выходом крайнего обновления, игроки разделились на два лагеря, одни кричат «хорошая обнова» други что «все плохо» и вторых в разы больше. Я вижу много и плюсов (стало сложнее, больше мелких событий, система навыков) и минусов (убрана возможность охоты, меню крафта не удобное и визуально вызывает отвращение и минусов много по большей части визуальной состовляющей). Разрабам надо задуматься и переосмыслить многие моменты этой глобальной обновы. Т.к. для релиза она слишком сырая!

Released an Invulnerable Boss
The first boss in the new Halloween event has 8k health and 14k armor when your player level is 100. Buffs are not helpful enough to do that amount of damage with the best gear in game before you lose. The boss can deal 600-900 damage. When you have 2k armor and 150 health pre-buff, you need to cheat to win. Day R was such a great game 5 years ago but now it’s a sad shell of its former self. The people in charge of the decision making kept pushing out monetized content and ruined the spirit of what this game meant to its fanbase.
Update broke the game
New searching system broke the game. Everything even remotely useful is locked behind something you need tools to get through but you can’t get the tools because their locked behind something. Game was great but the update broke the game. Please balance this better
A shame.....
Latest update has ruined what was my favourite game. The update is designed to get you to spend more, you get sicker quicker and get injured easier and for longer meaning you have to buy first aid. Options to buy base items have gone so you have to buy multiple tools. Dissapointed that a great game is being turned into a cash cow.......
Cap purchase did not go through
Purchase some cap today, the last one did not go through. Thought the game crashed so I closed the app but then got the App Store 'your purchase is all set' message. However, the cap was not added to the account afterwards when I checked in game. Please fix.
