Poor Update
Reply to your reply. The updates has made the issue worse… it has not fixed it at all. Since the latest update my Saphe Pro will not charge. It worked perfectly until the update. I’ve refreshed the firmware, rebooted etc, still not charging although it shows the lightning symbol. Software use?

Ingen forbindelse
I melder selv ud på telefonen at det er fejl mellem Saphe og iPhone og i arbejder på en fejltetning, men når den ene dag tager den anden og problemet fortsat ikke er løst, så virker det ikke som om i tager det seriøst nok…!
Verbindungsaufbau Probleme
Leider seit dem ca. vorletzten Update eine deutliche Verschlechterung des Verbindungsaufbaues. Einmal geschafft ist alles okay. Leichte Erschütterungen des Gerätes (gekauft 2023) nutzen nichts, irgendwann sporadisch steht dann die Verbindung. Mobilgerät IPhone mit akt. Software. Gibt es Abhilfe?

Does not work BEWARE
There is currently a issue with the software where the device will connect to phone unless the app is open. This is not how it used to work and has been an issue for sometime. I emailed support and get friendly email admitting the issue but no eta on a fix or recognition they’ve completely borked their own product!
Fin lille model men med alvorlig mangel i app’en
Saphe T er en super lækker lille enhed. Men den lyser konstant og unødigt op og viser en farttavle og den aktuelle hastighed. Det er jo helt håbløst. Begge dele er jo komplet overflødigt! Alle biler har et speedometer, og mange biler viser i forvejen pågældende hastighedsbegrænsning. Hvis ikke er der jo vejskilte derude! Man bør kunne indstille Saphe T’s skærm til bare at være sort, indtil en alarm kommer eller man selv vil melde noget ind.
Langsom tilslutning
Siden forrige version går der lang tid inden den tilslutter. Nogle gange 5-10 minutter. Det er blevet lidt bedre med denne version, men stadig ikke som tidligere - Det’en ommer!
Når den virker er den god
Det er efterhånden på ret mange strækninger at den gode Saphe sætter ud, og enten viser 2 røde streger, eller osse drøner tallene op og ned. Igår begyndte den sågar at bippe fordi jeg kørte 74 i timen, hvor grænsen lå på 70. Det er jo rigtig fint, hvis det altså ikke var fordi jeg holdt HELT STILLE i en kø. Det er ved at være ret irriterende at betale til noget juks. Jeg har prøvet at tænde og slukke, men det virker ikke. Men når den virker er den god, ja jeg elsker den faktisk når det er. Den har sparet mig for mange fartbøder, når jeg ikke selv kan finde ud af hvor hurtigt jeg må køre. Håber på en opdatering der kan rette lidt bugs😊

Please no more updates
Been using this for months and it’s very good ,then you get the dreaded update message and it converts it into a dash ornament and is totally useless . Updated it yesterday guess what it’s crashed sorted it out Saphe or go out of business . Shame because when it works it’s good

Not worth it
Yeh this device really isn’t worth it, constantly loses connection to your phone, camera database is out of date. I bought it hoping it would help, but it’s really not worth it at all.

Jeg er godt tilfreds indtil videre, men jeg har også kun en Saphe One, men tror det er på lånt tid, vil æde min hat på de lukker for dem på et tidspunkt og tvinger folk over på abonoment.

Very small compact device that gives you notification of those dreaded speed cameras. Absolute bargain.
Too many Problems
I’ve been using this now for about 2 months. When it works, it’s ok. However! 1. There are too many inaccuate/non-exsistant reports. I travel on the M62, M1 and A1 frequently. It still gives warnings of cameras that no longer exsist. I have been inable to find a way to report this. 2. You report a new camera but it is nit added to the database Luckily, I will no longer be driving soon as I’m retiring. But I pity the drivers who rely on this
Bedre, men stadig fejl, samt reklame notifikationer.
I har efterhånden fået styr på appen, der er dog stadig et problem med at der bliver zoomet ind på Apple CarPlay ved at skifte mellem apps, den skal huske hvad den er sat til, uanset om man lige skifter over til Spotify og tilbage eller om man forlader bilen og kører igen en anden dag, google maps kan finde ud af det, så burde det heller ikke være et problem for jer. Så vil jeg gerne ha mulighed for at frabede mig alle notifikationer der ikke er relevante for kørsel med Saphe, jeg gider ikke reklamer for nye produkter eller opdateringer eller hvad i nu kan finde på, det er helt fint at man selv kan læse det i appen.
Pointless
All my speed alerts tell me the speed is 48mph 56mph & 79mph which no camera in the UK is that, I’ve spoke to them using web chat and was told to uninstall & reinstall which I have done but no luck. Absolutely pointless having it, it used to be good so not sure what has happened.
God app - meget data
Synes app og funktionerne virker upåklageligt gennem CarPlay. Dog synes jeg, at den bruger en del data på fx én times køretur (+100 MB).
Ace app that’s save lives as well as fines
I don’t get it. Why so down on Saphe. For me it does what it says on the tin. It warns me when I accidentally go over a speed limit, whilst giving valuable information as I drive. Highly recommended.
Poor Database
What one needs to know is where the MOBILE camera traps are located, so having purchased drove south down (the notorious for mobile camera vans) A417 dual carriageway in Glos. Not one of the known 4 locations in 15 miles brought any alerts, but I notified each time on the device. If it doesn't update the database swiftly, then the Saphe mini is next to useless and doesn't inspire my confidence in its 'protection' on routes elsewhere in the UK that I am unfamiliar with.

Silly emphasis on acknowledging every alert, esp. in CarPlay - why is “OK” more important than info?
The CarPlay implementation is marred by the focus on making you press ‘OK’ for every camera. Why is this big blue button more important than the actual camera and distance info (in pale grey and much smaller)? I don’t want to be distracted by pressing ‘OK’ every time while driving, I just want the camera info.
Just about OK but with niggly issues
It’s OK but not great. It supposedly turns on and off automatically but mine doesn’t, despite having the latest firmware. I have to remember to turn it on/off manually. I have an IPhone 14 fully updated and paired properly. The warning alarms are not very loud either. I bought this as my Speed Cheetah has started playing up. It’s not a patch on that unit but they are no longer made. It is small which I wanted and it does show a GPS speed display which I needed. This shows my actual speed not my speedo speed. I actually use Waze for camera alerts. I can’t trust this cos if the radio is on, I can’t hear the alarms.. I can only give it 3 out of 5 with the issues I listed. Better than nothing, not the best.
Great little device
This is a great little device ok it doesnt pick up police radar but its just lets you know where the speed cameras are traffic light cameras ect i would recommend it also when im constantly using the motorways and i drive late at night it keeps you alert
Keeps disconnecting
It was great when I first got it. Solid connection to the unit and worked faultless. Since the update it keeps disconnecting and or freezing. Virtually useless now. Very disappointed as I paid for the pro version.
Option to advise
Have the option to tell where new fixed speed cameras are installed other than that I love this recently passed an average speed camera zone calculated my average speed kept my within limit
Needs an update
I bought the Saphe pro after getting a ticket in an average speed zone on the A406 Initially thought the Saphe pro was a good product to alert you of cameras and speed limits (as they are changing all the time in London) How ever the speed camera and sped limit database are out of date it is only accurate 70/75% of the time. The Saphe link app needs to updated. I still use this along side Waze but it is quite pointless other than the display on the dash. If I had know this before I purchased one I would of looked into other products.

Min Saphe beder om strøm hver 4-7 dag, oplader den natten over, men kommer aldrig over 50 procent i måleren, i app siger den at enheden er helt opladet 🧐 plads til lidt forbedring
The best
I have one of these the one that shows the speed and cameras, it picks them up perfectly and even the hand held camera, it also warned me of any act or traffic jams, I would definitely recommend this to anyone who travels a lot.
Useful no more
Recent app update killed the connection to my Saphe Drive. They’ve updated it but still the connection causes no speed to be displayed. How do you ruin a great product?!
Old Siren could not find
I am missing the old siren sound on new saphe pro (police siren)if you can upload that again plz.
Speed limits and carplay UK
Speed limits are wrong in Uk.Showing 61 mph on a roads and 71 on motorway. Cannot find any way to correct. Carplay the speed and turn direction is in the wrong place. It should be upper left and not upper right and distance to next does mot work. Wish i had known before i bougjt two.
Please add speed limits for vans
As per title. Bought this for use in a van in the uk. However this is proving to be almost pointless on A roads as the pre programmed speed limit on the device is for cars, vans have lower speed limit on A roads and would be nice if you can somehow tell it if your in the van so it notifies us if we go over 60 and not 70. If you could implement this then it would be perfect. Thanks
Amazing
Loving it. Exactly what I want it works perfect in London just few 20 mph and 30 mph cameras are not accurate. Pings most cameras so happy with it.
App does not work
Please do not buy the device that uses this app I have bought so I have bought the mini and the pro the mini worked for about two weeks along come on over upgrade which I downloaded. It worked for another two weeks so I thought the mini was not working, so I ordered the pro work fine for two weeks then stop working looked on my phone and it said new version coming which was three weeks ago. Still not got the new version complete auto waste of money and time

A great idea ruined by bugs
I sent my device back today after it died on me following just four days of use. Below is the review I left on Amazon. ++++++++++++++++++++ I really wanted to like this item because the idea of it is great. When it works it’s fabulous. However it is very buggy and unreliable and today it gave up altogether. My main gripes are: 1) It gets confused in average speed zones. At the end, a symbol flashes up to tell you you’re no longer in the zone. However, it then returns to measuring your average speed. While it does this it gives you a false speed limit symbol - ie you’ve come out of a 40mph zone into a 30mph but its still telling you you’re in a 40. WORSE, while it’s in this state it doesn’t warn you that you’re approaching fixed speed cameras and you can sail right by them 10mph above the limit. It can keep this up for minutes before it sorts its life out. 2) It sometimes forgets its settings. It has useful sounds for different scenarios which you can set via the app. One good feature is that you can set a ping for when you’re approaching a camera under the limit and a more alarming siren sound if you’re going too fast. Two days in and mine started playing both sounds at once which was very annoying. 3) It occasionally misses cameras, which kind of defeats the whole object really. 4) It died. When you get into your car, it automatically pairs with your phone and briefly shows you a screen with three green icons, showing you battery status, connection and that it knows where it is. The screen sometimes doesn’t appear at all but today it stayed up for three minutes. And then didn’t alert me to a single camera on my way home from work (there are at least 10.) It was switched on and connected to my phone, it was just asleep on the job. If you’re relying on this to keep you out of trouble… well that’s just it, you can’t. So I’m sending mine back to Amazon. I’m not going to give up yet though. I’m going to order another and see if it’s any better. I’ll update this review at a later date. I’m sure many of the problems described above are with the app. If the designers could sort them out this could be a great little device.
Does work, but…
Being in London I found that most speed limits are not up to date an so the speed cameras! Please fix it!!!

I am not sure where all the negative reviews are coming from!! I have one of these and it works really well for me. Expectations are too high I guess!
Was the CarPlay integration of this app every actually tested??
Fundamental flaws make the CarPlay implementation of this app un-useable. The map suffers from intermittent display problem resulting in random large blocks of colour overlaying on the map making unsightly and difficult to read/follow. More importantly when the speed is displayed in MPH it is converted wrongly - way under displaying the speed as related to the speed limit. This is likely ( but not entirely sure ) to therefore not display warnings/alerts when exceeding the limit. Interestingly if you display speed in KPH they are correct. Just dreadful quality control!

Has the potential to be really good. Not the best in the U.K due to lack of users.
I bought this a few weeks ago & must say I have been disappointed so far. I like the concept & the ease of changing it from one car to another. The database is out of date & the reporting buttons work great but, to report what hazard it is, is frustrating & takes your mind off driving which is never good. I really wanted this to be a success but I fear it will just go the way of so many other devices as it just can’t offer the warnings of Waze, Google Maps, Apple Maps & TomTom who are all superior at reporting. I am in two minds whether to return it to Halfords for a refund :(
Improvement would be to notify you if/WHEN your speed is exceeding…
Not bad alongside Waze. However on a recent journey it was really clear that a brilliant improvement would be to be able to set the device to notify or alarm only when you are exceeding the speed (m25 for example)… e.g notify if over by 10 mph or more to adjust sensitivity… This would make the device more useful. As to be honest, without this feature I’m not too sure… (Although it did just notify me of a cam on the m1 I didn’t know about!)

This app and product works seamlessly. It’s very easy to use and pre warns you of upcoming cameras and congestion.
Inaccurate Speed
So disappointed with this produce, especially when it has so much potential. The first major issue is the speedometer does not read accurately and therefore you do not get alerts when you should be. I was travelling at 55 mph and it was registering 37 mph. Secondly, the app is always active and does majorly impact on the battery life of your iPhone. I have contacted support and admittedly they did email back, asking some questions. but the issue is still not fixed. I will unfortunately be returning this item.
Almost great !!!
Sits on my Tesla M3 dashboard and is super useful on long journeys. It will save you money ££££. Issues: *Often when new roadworks appear it often says 70mph instead of 50mph for many weeks. *On the B6232 (Belthorn) the average speed cameras go from 30mph up to 50mph and then down to 40mph. On Saphe for 4 miles it just says 30 mph! I want a way of reporting errors on the map by pressing both buttons simultaneously❗️
