Tally Pro update
A nice recent update to a great colorful app i have been using for 6 years provided daily history easily viewable on a calendar to keep track of weekly and monthly progress Keep up the great work Simon ! Also Simon got back to me about a question and resolved it the same day via email ✨
They removed ability to + or - on a widget without unlocking your phone.
Update August 13 2026: I just updated the app, and this feature is STILL not working! You used to be able to swipe from your Lock Screen to your widget (without unlocking your phone) and click the + or - on the widget. Now it won’t let you unless you unlock your phone first. Maddening. If you swipe to your widgets from your Lock Screen, and try to click + or -, your phone prompts you to unlock the phone in order to add or subtract from the tally widget. Very frustrating! Please BRING BACK the function where you can + or - without unlocking the phone.

A very good app. Please give us cute themes like pink, purple, and green. More practically, I wish we could group folders. The more casual tasks I track (progress reading a book, good habits) the more i need to separate it from actual productivity goals (finish # amount in this category)

Really close but…
Like all the other apps out there, this is entirely built around counting UP to positive goals. No one seems to give attention to budgeting vices, like snacking, alcoholic drinks, hours of TV or video games, etc. Most of us don’t want to give those things up entirely but they need to be kept in check. This app gets painfully close to being able to do that…but the counter reset always goes to zero. Guess I need to keep looking or create an app myself. 😑
Motivation
The app is awesome it keeps me accountable table, honest and consistent. Easy way to track what I’m doing and being mindful of what I’m doing. Really has helped my marriage. Nagging has cut down lol

Great customer service Data disappeared
I use it daily but wish they would go back to the entry system from before the update. So many taps needed to record an item with a time now. Great app had an issue where I woke up to no data in the app. When I restored the data it duplicated. The next morning it duplicated again. Developer responded and worked with me over several days on a fix and it’s now working properly again. Very fast customer service with a good outcome!

真的恶心，本来有一个免费免费组件能用的，更新之后小组件根本看不到统计总数信息，想着换一个吧直接把规则改到只有充会员才能设置小组件，说白了有需要多组件用途的肯定会充会员，但这样逼着人充只能说换软件了...
许愿每日目标进度
想要每天重置也能显示每日目标进度，现在只有不重置才会显示具体百分比

LOVE THIS APP
For all the trackers and data lovers. THIS. IS. THE. ONE. Constant updates, be try cool custom widgets, On top of that a one time payment of only 5 or 6 dollars opposed to monthly subscriptions is just unbeatable. 1000% recommended. So glad I found this. Big applause to the dev team!
I do NOT recommend!
I am not someone who normally writes reviews, and I’m definitely not the a person who would normally say something bad. But I was keeping track of some very important (to me) information, and I go to bed last night, and wake up to see that the app updated, and deleted ALL of my findings and I am very disappointed and honestly kinda upset that this happened! There are more apps like this out there and I will be downloading a new one and deleting this app!

APP很好用，更新后也美观了，但是记录时间的界面变了，以前不仅能看到日期，还能看到具体是周几，这样我记录小孩兴趣班一目了然，现在改成只有日期，我还得打开日历才能看到是周几，麻烦调回以前每次增加计数的时候可以看到周几的页面，谢谢
Great Tool
I’ve been using this as a simple tracker for caloric intake throughout the day, but I can already tell this app has would be great for many different purposes. Its simplicity makes it adaptable and customizable for endless uses, so your imagination is the only limit. I look forward to finding more ways to integrate this powerful little tool into my daily life! Also worth nothing that I love the “pay once and use forever” subscription model (this is a sound investment!). The developer deserves high marks, too—I recently submitted feedback after a version update and they actually took the time to send a very helpful response.
Apps a rip off
It’s advertisement insinuates that it has a home screen widget. You cannot access this widget until you pay for pro. Once you purchase pro then it becomes clear that it is a widget that is only available inside the app not on your actual phones Home Screen. Defeating the whole purpose of me purchasing this app. 👎🏻

I like the app generally. A few UI strings show in Chinese instead of English. I’d like to be able to import data from another app. Standard CSV with datetimes, quantities

Apps like these are not overly difficult to make I understand “nothing is free” however stuff like this can be free with ads. Instead they reduce its functionality without paying (there’s still ads). The traffic alone is a fair trade for the up keep and development of an app of this kind. There’s no widgets or settings that could make the app more helpful than a note you keep open or log of progress for free (I wanted to track my calories) these are limited or removed for the free version. Really the app itself works (some of the ad space is ugly though) but for basic logic apps like this you should not be expected to pay. (to be clear I appreciate the dev actually taking feed back. however as it stood when I used the free version, it was as functional as pre installed and existing software on every phone out there. Don’t make A free app that is useless if you don’t pay that’s not free.) If I were to actually try to give constructive criticism, the widget is absolutely required however you go about it you need to leave that in the app for everyone otherwise it serves no purpose. If I have to open the app to keep a tally throughout the day it serves as much purpose as a blank note. And to encourage people to get the paid version I’d add in customization let them change colors fonts and the name of tally’s etc helping it look more at home on their phone. Maybe multiple tally’s at once for paid and not free, or reminders that can be sent at specific times or quotas for the tally. Good luck with development in the future!

Please change the last update
I used this app for a long time and used the chart feature as it would keep track of everything for me. Since the last update I’m no longer able to use this app for the reason I bought it. I’m a premium member and not happy with this.
Widgets
I have created two widgets. One small one and one medium one. However, when I want to add the widget to the screen or the home widget, I don’t see this widget anywhere that I can select to add.

the best habit tracker
this app has pretty much everything you could need. its ad-free even without paying but provides some nice (but not necessary) features when paid.
Not the one chief
I was gonna write a really solid review for this app, until it glitched and I lost months of data and I feel so defeated losing all my goals and progress. I was working so hard and using the app had helped me so much, but the progress was the most important part to me. Now it’s all gone…. I already found another app to try, I’m just very sad about this one not working because I had used it since October and this is January.

Few minor additions would be nice: Fix feedback in app (can’t send feedback through app) Make colours fill each tally instead of each tally being white rectangle Would be good if you could show timestamp of last change to tally More colour options $1.39 is very good price
Doesn’t sync with iCloud
I wanted to use it on iPhone and iPad. It doesn’t sync with iCloud on neither manual nor automatic synchronisation options. Therefore, it’s device limited, which sucks.
I couldn’t live without it
I’m not one to write reviews even for apps I really like. Tally is probably my second most used app. I Tally just about everything. From temporary and new medications I’m taking, to symptoms I keep track of. I use Tally to track certain habits as well as keeping track of chores. Not only is there much value in collecting data, but also in reviewing that data so one can see correlations. I like that one can group items. I use the watch app as well. The developer has recently been putting a lot of work into updating and improving the app. I used to use Quantifier for years to tally data, but that was pulled from the App Store earlier this year. I have to admit, I felt somewhat disheartened that I might not find a replacement. Until I found Tally. Thank you for such an awesome tool. Highly recommended.
Duplicate entry
When I press once it counts twice. Tried what was suggested it still does it. Response to dev: no it creates a duplicate entry. I press it once it goes up one I come back to the app a few minutes later and it has automatically added a duplicate at the exact same time. This is not a unique issue for me it seems.
great app, dark mode?
just got the app, i think it’s great. I would love to have some kind of dark mode capabilities though :)
Incomplete App
This app would be worth paying for..... if it was complete....Works well, except you can’t exit the settings section without closing out the app. You also can’t reset the points back to Zero
