Pretty good, some gripes
It’s a fun way to pass the time, however, any time I trap the AI (make it so they cannot move) the game crashes. It used to count it as a win, now it starts the whole game over…
Should have a no-ad purchase option
There is no option to pay to have ads disappear.
It’s alright
Repetitive game obviously but my one complaint is the difficulty settings. The hard difficulty is just so easy it’s very hard to lose this game vs the computer. I’d like more of a challenging difficulty to play against otherwise the game works fine and is by no means bad just like I said if your not vs a friend and you go against the computer it’s not much of a challenge.
I love ancient games
Easy to learn and understand and many many possibilities, great amount f fun. Now I can finally play the table top version I bought at a ren faire years ago

Nine Men’s Morris
It’s an old game I discovered while in Boston. It was carved into the bottom of a tea crate in the museum. Sometimes easy, yet it still challenges me!

I’m addicted to The Mill
I was so happy to find this game in the app store. I like it a lot except that the hard version is not hard enough. I’m in the top 1% and would like more of a challenge without going to live opponents.

The graphics are nice but the game is too easy even with difficulty on high. I haven’t tried to play online yet because nobody seems to be connected. Maybe the algorithm could be improved
Crashes a lot.
Every time you block your opponent out without a mill the game will crash. Seems to be made by somebody who knows about the game but does not understand the game. Blocking your opposition from any move on the board without a mill is the ultimate victory. To set up the board to do so only to have the game crash leaves this game wanting. And the flying? Who dreamed that up, somebody’s 7 year old? It’s playable as a time waster, but not much more than that.

I just got an ad that looked like an “update app” pop up, but it just lead to another app! Plus, the “hard” ai is so easy to beat, it seems like this app is just made to get you to watch ads.

Great, but one problem
In my opinion, this game is okay but would be better if you just improved one thing, the AI bot thingy. So I see many people complaining about it and I think I could agree with there complaints the AI robot is very stupid and does not know how to play games. So I really like winning games and it’s satisfying when I win one but I keep winning this game cuz of the bot and winning every round just gets kind of annoying. Other than that, the game is better than all the other mill games. 😪

Ridiculously easy
In the Hard setting, it’s like playing someone who wants to lose every single game, because that’s usually what happens. How difficult would it be to create an algorithm that is challenging, or at least competitive?
Rewarding challenge
I have been playing Nine Mens Morris since way before the internet and online gaming. This version is the best all round conversion to tablet PCs. The multiplayer invite could do with a bit of polishing but other wise a great game.
Good but easy
Extremely easy even on hard difficulty, it doesn’t even match up to the medium difficulty mini game in assassins creed black flag, need to add an ultra real mode
Works fine, but brain-dead AI needs work.
As the above title indicates, this game is ok. It works. You’re shown a very short add after every game, so the adds aren’t that intrusive. Where this game’s big problem lies is in it’s AI. The AI needs a LOT of work. Even at the highest difficulty, the computer opponent makes horrible mistakes that it just shouldn’t be making. I’ve had numerous games where the computer opponent had me officially beat on the next move, only to watch it move the wrong pieces or put a piece somewhere else, almost intentionally, it seems, pushing ME into the win position. I haven’t lost a game, or been challenged in any way. And I’m by no means a strong player of this game. So the AI needs a lot of work. The game offers no challenge at all and seems to want to help you beat it, sometimes, even on the hardest level. So. In conclusion: The game works, looks ok, adds, while there, aren’t too intrusive, but the AI is awful.

I used to play this back in Hungary as a youngster! Happy to see it as an app.
Bad programming
The programming of this game is really bad, even on the hardest setting is is nearly impossible to lose. So it you want to win 500 games in a row then this is the one for you!

Play is great, but the bots—easy, medium, and hard—are all far too beatable and don’t make moves that challenge the player. But I guess this is s good app for 2 players...but then you could just use an actual board.
Fun but Game Breaking Bug
I just got into Nine Men’s Morris, and I had to get an app. I enjoy this app so much more than any other Mills app, but every time I win a game via blocking an opponent from moving, instead of saying I won, my app just crashes to my home screen, and doesn’t count the win. This is a common win method for me, so it’s frustrating not being able to log my win in the app.
I’ll keep it simple and real.
Five stars. Fantastic. Once you get past the ads, it’s a great experience. Great job!

Played against the AI on another game using the computers moves from the other game to make my moves and it completely humiliated this games “hard” level.
Great! If a little too easy
Really well made and fun game. It would get 5 stars if the “hard” difficulty was actually difficult. It doesn’t take long to be able to predict the ai’s moves And against real players you can tell almost as soon as the few moves have taken place who will win

Great, but some problems
I really love this game, and it is a faithful recreation of the original! The app does what it set out to do. Unfortunately, three things stop this app from being the best it can be. 1) The game crashes nearly every time you win by blocking an opponent in 2) The AI is too easy. Hard mode seems promising, but it barely uses more strategy than easy. There should be a harder setting. 3) There’s an achievement where you need to play 1,000,000 matches. Assuming each match takes ~35 seconds (it will take more though), that’s 405 days of playing this game. That’s over a year of just playing this game. The achievement is practically unobtainable and will only exist to mock me whenever I open my app. Other than those three things, the app is really fun and you should give it a try!

Great game, however the rules are only the European ones, what about the African ones where the game originated from?
Crashes when I win
This is simplicity and fun at its best, but the game crashes and closes 50% of the time when I win a game by blocking all of an opponents moves. This is really annoying as it doesn’t count the game toward my statistics. They need to fix this.
Difficulty settings
How do change the freakin settings?! I’ve been stuck playing easy mode because the difficulty level setting doesn’t pop up for me!!! 🤬 it’s so frustrating trying to find out by looking online and not finding anything!!

Compulsively Entertaining
Love this game! I played it long ago as a kid, & it didn’t take long to re-learn it. There’s something fascinating about it. My only complaint is that at the hardest level, when it can “fly”, it won’t make the glaringly-obvious-move, & so it loses. Almost all the time. Unless I’m not paying attention. From this I conclude that it’s just not as smart as a human.
