Apple Store indicated this was a free app. You can create the invoice for free, but you cannot save it in order to do anything with it.
Bug issues
Even though I have updated and refreshed the app I have lost all progress more than once. It also deletes the task line over and over. Not all of them just random tasks. It takes a while to type out a proper estimate or invoice and with me paying for the app I feel like it should be better quality. I would use the app for more things or business use but I’m afraid I’ll either lose something or something will get messed up .

Almost the best Invoice App but no Text Message Capabilities
This invoice app is one of the best on the market but what keeps me from using it and giving it 5 stars is that it’s literally the only invoice app out of the 20 I tried that doesn’t have the ability to send the invoice via text message. There is also not the ability to copy a link to the invoice and paste it so that people can pay their invoices. If they fixed that, it would easily be the best invoice app on the market. What a shame
Very Painful app
I’ve been using this app since the beginning of January 2024, and I can’t wait to end my subscription this December. While the app is easy to use, it needs a lot of improvements. After reviewing other users' complaints, it seems the developers do not care. Here are my main concerns: 1. The app does not have background refreshing. If I don’t complete writing an invoice and forget to save the task, once I leave the app for any reason and return, all my work is gone—the app resets. 2. Many times, after writing an invoice or task, it disappears for no reason. 3. If I don’t input any value into the invoice, it doesn’t save. Overall, it needs significant improvements, and I am currently searching for a new app.
Great App When It Is Updated
Using the app is great when you’re using the latest version, if you haven’t updated the app when its first released bugs will appear within the app, IE: payment banking details just vanished from invoices being sent to customers. Updated the app & now they have reappeared
Clean easy interface
Really like how simple everything is kept. I can make invoice, edit it and send it without getting confused anywhere.
Bad, bad application
It doesn't work I lost many invoices and estimates for this application and they don't solve anything or refund they want to give it's a very bad application don't use it

It’s been a good app until this last renewal it erased a lot of my contacts info.
A must have if your just starting out
It can be a real challenge being your own boss. As a small business owner I am the CEO, CFO, Service Provider and Accountant. Thank goodness for Moon Invoices! It is very user friendly and I can get invoices done quickly and move on to the next task needing my attention.
Bonne app dans l'ensemble
J’utilise cette application depuis plusieurs années. Bonne application dans l'ensemble mais encore beaucoup de bugs. Parfois mes factures se vides toutes seules( articles et tâches disparaissent) Problèmes de synchronisation etc…

Deleted my app, changed names, no help
I went to open my software today and it was missing. After 30 on a chat with support they explained they renamed the software to air invoice but it WAS NOT the same app. Then they directed me here to download this app and its the same with a bunch of changes. I've used this software for 10 years and its been great, but they keep tryign to "upgrade" and change it making it impossible to navigate and use. I will be finding another app for invoicing unless this company gets it together asap.

Iam using this application in my iPhone,Mac book and also in my iPad but now a days it’s not working in my iPad I am already update the application and restart the same but the problem is still going on,
One Major Fault!
Moon Invoice is a sophisticated, complete app for any small business that needs to issue invoices and get paid. However, if, like me, you have repeat customers who rely on a monthly statements (think credit card statements) then it has a major flaw that renders the app unusable. Moon Invoice can issue statements at the click of a button, but the statements are NOT itemized. Instead of listing the goods/services provided in the statement period all that you can create is a statement that lists the numbers of the invoices that have been created such as August 12 - Invoice 73 - $50, August 17 - Invoice 82 - $75, etc… not what any monthly client wants. Like I said, if what you need is a simple invoice/payment interchange then Moon Invoice is wonderful. If you need itemized statements, it fails.

Poor Costumer Service
I downloaded the app for a trial. I couldn’t use all the features so I decided to upgrade. Now it says I have 3 active accounts and the app still doesn’t work. Customer service was no help and stopped responding. I guess it’s time to find a new app.
The best
I have been using invoicing apps since 10+ years, have changed apps almost every financial year, but not this app. I have been using this app since 2018 and I am happy and satisfied. Bugs do come but support is amazing, they fix them in no time. Overall very useful and efficient app with great developer team. Highly recommended app.
Less than ideal
I love the desktop version, don’t get me wrong! Love it! Took some getting used to tho. The iPhone app however, is slightly terrible. Not that intuitive for starters. I don’t seem to have nearly the same functionality as the desktop app, and don’t get me started on seeing the same graphics as the app screenshots. No clue how to get those generated. I do like how simplistically the app syncs up tho, that part feels seamless. A bit more work on the app being user friendly and I’d happily bump up my rating.
Going down hill 😕
UPDATE: when theres a new app udpate and I open the app to get some work done I can’t do anything without updating first. I often work in places with very poor internet connectivity and this is very frustrating. Updates should be optional, at least for some time. Also when I tab back and forth between different apps on my iPad and back to this, it locks me out and loses my place. This makes it really difficult to refer to other data whilst building my invoices. Still a frustrating experience although with some tweaks it could be excellent. I really like this, but not so sure about the latest updates. WORST of all is I went to edit my address in the companies section and I can’t change the POSTCODE? !!?? 😲 Also it keeps telling m I have outstanding invoices. I added payments years ago. I keep adding them again and periodically they just disappear. Disappointing.
Professional invoice maker

Very nice app but need to change and add some things some where. Its very good to maintain and user friendly app.
Problem child
Syncing should be easy but I'm often faced with a sudden loss of current data then when you try syncing to update, I end up with data almost 6 months old. Not great as then you can't capture receipts until the syncing is sorted out.

I love the simplicity of Moon Invoice with all the various options to create invoices and send them effortlessly. My favorite thing to do is send my invoices at the end of the month from beach chair on vacation! Highly recommend!
Don’t do it!
Never, under any circumstances, buy this app. There, now you’ve been warned. The devs who build this app are “feature” crazy. They constantly roll out updates that fundamentally rethink the app basics, while introducing features that absolutely nobody was clamoring for. If you ignore my warning, expect relied upon workflows to be broken, hidden away, or removed entirely. As an example, they just removed my ability to email invoices through my preferred email app. In the past, I could choose between my own app and their built-in email server. Now when I use “system default” email, a miniature, abbreviated email window opens that’s neither Mail app nor Moon Invoice, and the email doesn’t even support email signatures. And if you copy all and try to paste it into a new email message, the attachment doesn’t paste. I mean, really? Data entry in this app is painful. Every single entry field is so stupid and convoluted that doing a simple single line invoice takes half an hour to complete. Not that it matters, since you can’t email it anyway. The devs seem to take joy in changing how stuff works. And then they just roll out the change without warning, as if it had always been that way. But it wasn’t! And implementing changes has consequences. Some of the changes force manual hand editing of every single customer record to function properly, like when they changed how invoice due dates work. One day out of the blue, all my invoices began being due on the creation date, instead of net 30, as it had been. But the old field where the due date used to be set was totally gone, and all records were set to same day due as creation. Do not buy this app! I know it’s cheap, but don’t do it.

Worst rip off confusing
App is so confusing and a rip off. It keeps telling me to start my free 7 day trial when It already made me pay for 2 subscriptions that don’t expire until April 2025 and September 2025. Don’t waste your time and money on this confusing app I don’t know why I stayed with this app for so long.
When I thought I’ll hope was lost, they proved me wrong
Had some issues with the app while I could not raise anybody on the Customer Support it was supposed to be 24 seven somebody did eventually answer me to a chat and email and was able to get everything worked out which was amazing. Thank you so much.
One of the most aggravating invoicing apps I've ever used
The iPad app is horrible. If you're entering information in portrait mode, and you spin it to landscaping, it totally deletes the editing window and everything that you just entered is completely lost. It will also reboot itself for updates while inputting information which is completely lost.

I purchased the full version back in 2017, never had any problems, until last week. Support contacted me and they told me that my subscription was cancelled, expired. I sent back my information and recipe. After that a got multiple email letting me know that is nothing they can do, if I want to use the app I need to pay again. Juts beware that the full version will cost you more than once.
