Holy Bible
Easy and very good to use
So bizarre
This app is so bad I’m worried that I may have downloaded some sort of spyware or something. Like surely this is just a cover. All the features listed either are not present at all or just come up blank, aside from the verse-by-verse Bible reading. You can’t even read a whole chapter in paragraph format. And the app itself (not the scriptures) is clearly badly translated to English. Do not download.
Modern translation - chapters are off
The translation is in very plain English which makes it very easy to understand. Some liberties have been taken in translation to make it easy to understand but be careful taking some translations as literal. Only big complaint it that in the New Testament the chapters are off and not just within a particular book but even between books. Peter 1 for example starts at James 5.7. This is pretty consistent through the entire publication. I reported it to the publisher and no response or correction. Makes me wonder if their primary interest isn’t just the non stop pop up adds at the bottom of the page. Sorry to be judge mental but it does make the read confusing when a new book starts in the last chapter of the previous book.
Getting ads after I paid the $9.99 adfree app
Make it right
Not user friendly
Hello! Just downloaded the app and wanted to voice some concerns. When writing notes for a section I can’t see the words! I have to exit the notes and go back in to see them. Also, when I go to my saved notes, I should be able to see the note I put next to the passage right there! I shouldn’t have to click on the passage, hit read full chapter and then go to my notes. Also, it doesn’t let me just jump to any specific book or chapter I always have to open up the drop down page and it takes forever!
Very holistic
I love it❤️❤️
Horrible changes
Lost the simplisity and now is fluff
Helpful
It is nice to have scripture easily at hand. It may not be exactly what I'm use to but is a help.
Awkward
I don’t understand the Bible
Frustrating
Difficult to find books, and chapters, since only numbers appear in the dialogue box. To add to the confusion, "1", for example, could be any of several books. Also, it would be helpful if the app opened at the last read verse.
Well translated
Very helpful
I can’t change my daily notifications time
Huggffiguhh
Not true RSV
Seems to be more conversational English. That may be attractive to some but too many liberties were taken in translation.
Out of order / ad free issues
The New Testament does not start at Matthew it starts out of order with Corinthians. Also it shows I have read 336% of Corinthians when I have not reached that part of the bible. This is true for other books as well including John and revelations. These show that I have read over 1000% of the chapters. I wouldn’t give it such a low rating, however, there is no one to contact about these issues. Also after buying the ad free version, ads continued. I have to constantly restore ad free in settings.
Rating on RSV —5 stars
I’m glad to have The Bible at my fingertips and this app is very helpful! Thanks.
Not user friendly at all
Not user friendly. Can’t look up anything
Accurate
I know this Version is more correct than any other because it’s translation came from the original Hebrew and Greek texts. Not from KJV. However the scripture SEARCH in this app doesn’t work at all.
Great app
Simple to use, great work
Book names?
There are no titles for the books in the Bible. Maybe I’m missing something, or maybe this app is.
Ads, ads, ads!
I had such a great on line Bible but it is now discontinued. This one has very annoying ads, games, junk that pops up the entire time I am studying. I will be looking for another one!
My view
Great app it really gets one in the habbit of reading the word. I appreciate the pop up daily verses that keep one attactched to his spirit great app you will love it
I seriously doubt the authenticity of this production
This is a jumbo jumbo, a garbled production,. This is not an authentic Bible
Poorly organised
Poorly organised. Chapters and verses do not align. Developer needs to correct this very useful app.
Chapter & verse numbers off
The chapter and verse numbers in the app don't correspond to those in an actual bible.
Scriptures are Way Off
Don't even bother with downloading this app. The scriptures are way off. This is not the Bible taught in the Baptist, Non denominational, Assembly of God etc etc etc churches.
Not revised standard
Don't wasted your time on this if you are expecting a revised stand bible. I don't know what this is but beware of what someone has translated it to be.
